Great fun place to visit to get the city version of a country bar😁.. Live band's make this place special. Clean place and nice friendly staff members. The $700 min bottle service for a small 4 person both is a bit ridiculous🤔🤯. But I guess it must be OK.. Because they were all full. The bucket drinks are a cute touch and reasonably priced.

They are stealing your money by making fraudulent charges. I went there recently and my card was charged the correct amount last Friday. It cleared Monday n now today there is another charge that i did not authorize.

Great atmosphere! Lively crowd and great music! The drinks were good and plenty of space to dance or to just relax. One of my favorite places to visit downtown!

I highly recommend this bar! The ambience is very pleasant and welcoming. From drinks to the live entertainment (music and interactive dancing), I had an amazing time. The live band, the Young Guns, truly brought out good energy and a fun night.

Went last night to see Young Guns, a local San Diego band and they were incredible. I've never been to a concert like this in San Diego. I definitely will be back at Moonshine when they next play!

Went here because it always looks fun & I like country music. Unfortunately, the time I decide to try this place out it is sooo bad. The female bartender was very rude. The drinks were pricey & did not taste good. Very racist & unwelcoming vibes from this place. Won't be visiting here again. My advice is take your business to other places in Gaslamp Quarter.

They hired the wrong staff! Racist white guy at the door let our party in expect my brother in law who is black. He wasn't drunk, he wasn't rude, he was not let in all because he was black. Years ago when they opened, I would attend and enjoyed the atmosphere but will NEVER attend again.

I really wish I could like this place because it has fun potential.
Unfortunately I had a bad experience. The staff here are all VERY rude and I will never come back.
$20 for a drink in a plastic cup is not worth it. One of the bartenders took it away from me because I left it unattended RIGHT IN FRONT OF HER and I was literally 2 ft away (soberly dancing I might add) from this drink. She and the bar apparently don't want to be liable if the drink got drugged. Fine. I understood it but it was around 8:30pm, second floor and she wasn't busy. She could have held it for me if she was nice

They ended up kicking out my group for being too much fun over the "moonshine girls". We had zero warnings, were responsibly holding onto our drinks, and then all of a sudden got security escorting us off for absolutely no reason. It was ridiculous and we were all excited to have fun and watch the band and then we were removed without cause.

Came to moonshine for a bachelorette party last weekend. We all had so much fun! Great music that had us dancing all night. I do have to give a few shout outs to the security guards who weren't afraid to brake it down. Miguel, Sherman, The cute red head in the military ;) B was also very nice, Coo at the door, Erik the bar tender, The undercover cop I forgot his name.. we had fun with all of you!! If ur in SD looking for a good time this is the place to be definitely recommend! Next time I'm in SD I will try to come back! 🤠

What's the Merchant Name of Moonshine Flats on a Credit Card Statement? Went to your bar, but the charges on my Credit Card statement say "Moonshine Luckys" and NOT Moonshine Flats. Hence my confusion.

Came here with a group of girlfriends (one of them is getting married) after going out to dinner downtown. We wanted to do a little bachelorette outing and we LOVE country music. We were treated very rudely by the young woman in the front, all of the other large groups were getting in for free and of course we had to pay..... maybe because were a bunch of older ladies?????

This place is a really fun and large country bar. They have so many different areas to make sure you can do whatever activity you would like to do. They have a live music stage, which is super fun!

Awesome energy, a lot of country music for people that need their fix in San Diego. There’s one side that’s more like a club with a dance floor and bars, and another more laid back side with games and food for people that want to drink but not necessarily party.

Great place for country music, beers, and dancing. There is also another bar connected through a tunnel which was really cool as well. Make sure to go check this place out when visiting San Diego

Fun place by @petcopark to hang out before the game & catch the Kentucky Derby. There were oversized video games, giant beer pong, corn hole & lots of tv screens. Looked like a back section of the place was closed for COVID. Over all had a fun atmosphere & large & spread out enough if you're interested in social distancing.

If I could I would give 0 stars. I understand with covid things are different BUT the attitude of employees should not be. The host at the front was EXTREMELY RUDE and very unprofessional. We asked to be seated a group of 7 were denied because "there was to many of us" but next to our table there was a party of 10? When I asked him why we couldn't have our group but the people next to us could he then told me "that's besides the point." When in fact that was the point and the whole purpose. We left and have no intentions returning in the future. Highly recommend going

NOT A COUNTRY BAR.
Country music doesn't need a hype man. Get rid of the guy on the dance floor yelling random crap.
Also, if you want to learn the stripper version of every line dance, this is the place to be.
This is a fun spot, but not for true country music lovers.

First time coming by here and overall it is a really cool place.

If you are into country and line-dancing, look no further because I am sure this is going to be your favorite spot.

We came by around 9:30pm and asked the bouncer about the place, he was nice enough to explain the setting, the backroom, etc. We went ahead in to check it out and went for the back room, not realizing just how big this place really is! And from the front, it already looks huge!

They have a fun DJ and all the dancers and bartenders love having a great time. They teach a few of the line dances but then 99.9% of the

Went here before a baseball game as a first timer. The place is open, spacious, and even has games so that's a plus. The drinks were good and so were the appetizers. The service was pretty good too. If you're looking for a chill spot to hit up before going to pet I park, this is it. I'd go back if I'm ever in the area again.
