Called them and scheduled our yearly maintenance check on the water softener they installed. Gave us a five hour window. We rescheduled things and waited and waited. No show. Called the company. They said they had NO record of any appointments for us. I made the appt. on a speakerphone and my wife and I both copied it into our calendar. Time for a new company.

Awful. Came to our house for a service call as I was having sentiment in my water. Guy was there less than 5 minutes. Turned a valve and left. $170. After that point I had NO water in certain sinks, and trickling water out of my showers. I called them back immediately and I was told they couldn't come for 4 days!!! Then they came, 4 days later, and realized I had a sensor blown out on my tank & it had nothing to do with a valve. Charged me another $270. I called to complain as if they did their job properly the first time and explored what the issue could've been I would have only had to pay 1

Had no water in any of our faucets called Greco and Haines the guys arrived within 1 hour of call they checked out my system and found that a wire had been broken in our well they pulled up the pump and showed me the damaged wires the well pump was 10 years old the tech explained that the pump will still work but offered while it was out to replace both the pump and the wires they offered a great guarantee on the pump. I had them replace both thanks Greco and Haines best of all I paid what they quoted spot on with their estimate

I have used Greco & Haines for maintenance of my water system for over twenty years. Over that time they have maintained the softener and the water tanks. Last night my water went out. They arrived by mid-morning today and immediately told me the only thing wrong was a switch that turns on the water pump. Since, the pump was over twenty years old and they had sent their boom truck I asked for a quote to change out the pump. They completed the work in under three hours and the final bill was the same as the estimate. They are not "cheap" but I have always found them to be professional and competent

The techs were really good spent 2.5 hrs replacing the tank,adding a device to get me more pressure and fixing the well pump. The two problems I had were the price was outrageous and then i was told to hose out the well for 20 minutes for a few hours to get the dirty water out. It took close to ten hours before I finally got clear water to come out I feel I should have gotten paid or at least a rebate for the time that I put in.

When I bought my house had them put in a new pump and tank, worked without problems for almost 20 years. They use good pumps and tanks and switch,s. Yesterday no water called in the morning done in the afternoon. Probably could find a cheaper price but probably have cheaper pump , tank, and components also hoping this new system will outlive me.

We were having problems with low water pressure. The tech tried to convince me I needed to spend $3280 to replace both my filter tank and my pressure tank. He charged me $144.64 for the "wellness visit" and did NOT FIX THE PROBLEM!
I had to figure out how to run the filter back flow timer myself, and did a good long back flow of the filter tank fixing the problem. The G&H tech that had installed it had the backflow set to occur once per week which was not sufficient to keep up with the sedimentation. I called Greco & Haines on a Saturday morning when my well pump stopped working and I had no water. They were helpful and courteous on the phone and said they would send someone out in the afternoon. Frankly being a Saturday I was surprised they answered the phone. Two technicians showed up around 2pm. They were very knowledgeable and diagnosed the problem to the pump right away. To my surprise they had the materials on the truck and had the pump replaced by 3:30 PM. So far so good. Then I got the bill, a little over $3,000 to do the work. $2000 in materials and $1000 for labor. I was shocked

Our well pump suddenly failed and we needed same day service, and had to turn to G&H due to availability. The techs arrived about 5 hours later. They got right to work and identified the problem. Techs were pleasant and their quote matched the final price. However, that price was much higher (basically double) than what I later found out someone else with a similar depth well had paid elsewhere. Rating is only 2 stars because you can find equally competent and pleasant workers at much more reasonably priced competitors.

I needed a new pump put in my well. I hired a different company and they weren't able to remove the old pump. I called Greco and Haines, they were very professional and came out right away. The Job was done fast and I now have the best water pressure I've ever had. It was expensive, a bit more than the other estimates, but they got the job done and I'm very happy.

We used Greco and Haines to do the water testing and well and water evaluation at two houses, the latter one we bought. At the one we purchased, they installed an ultra-violet system for the water and shocked the tank with Chlorine. They also installed for radon a carbon filter tank and a removable filter. They were not cheap. I spent about 4000.00 with them on entry to our new house. But... Don't bother calling Greco and Haines if you live more than 58 minutes (google maps) or more from Derby. They came to my house, wrote an estimate, and dispatch was to call the following morning to schedule installation of a new water tank. They did call, but to say they didn't want to do the job because my house was 1-1/2 hours away, and all of their equipment, etc. that they may need for the job would be too far away. I think the real reason was because I came up with a solution that drastically reduced the amount of hourly labor they could have charged me.

The worst well company ever!! The woman who answered the phone was very rude!! Spending $220 only for their diagnosis, The problem they found was just Exactly I told them before they started. They left without fixing but charging money. Asking them to do your well means throwing money away. I wish I can give them negative stars.

No good! Don't trust this company! We suspected our well or pump was having some issues, so we called and asked for an evaluation. They came out, put air in the tank, and gave us some BS estimates. Immediately after they left, the water started running even worse--cutting off for 10-15 seconds every time it's used. Scary! We waited about a month, thinking it would eventually improve. Of course, it didn't. We called about it, and they essentially said there's nothing that they can do. GREAT! Just wasted $200 to exacerbate a problem! Thanks for nothing. Will not use this group

This company is one of, if not the best company I ever had to deal with. No one likes being without water, and certainly doesn't want to spend a fortune like I didn't want to. I called around, and yeah there were companies with rough quotes less than Greco & Haines, but they could be at my house within a few hours as opposed to most other companies "I'll see you when I get a chance to see you" attitude.
The were fast, knowledgeable, friendly & clean! I highly recommend this company! ESPECIALLY when you in a pinch!!

The wellpump needed replacement. They replaced the pump but didn't recommend or replace the connectors and hoses from / to the well. So shortly afterwards the basement had water from leaks from the 30 yr old connectors. For an additional service call cost and materials those were replaced. Then a week later the air tank started leaking. The local plumber who replaced that advised the new connectors used are cheap plastic a diff of 50cents vs $2 or $10 more if were installed the first time. As part of the airtank replacement the connectors airtank to pump were replaced but I am going to have
