The number one reason for choosing an Exclusive Buyer Agent is that you will save money on your new home purchase because he or she is representing "only you" and not the sellers. There are three main types of Realtors: Seller Agents, Exclusive Buyer Agents (or Brokers), Dual Agents (including non-exclusive Buyer Agents).
My agent agrees she "technically" represents the seller, but says she will be fair and "take care of me." Isn't that all I need?. Of course agents try to be fair and nice to the buyer since they want to make a sale. But, because they are bound by Real Estate License Laws, the Law of Agency, and their Code of Ethics, they can only do so much without jeopardizing their license to practice.
We purchase our home from Chris back in 2016. This was our second time purchasing and our very first time was a. nightmare so picking the right agent and someone we can trust was very very important. When we saw the home we liked, we put in the offer and we got the home. Not only the buying process was smooth, we also loved the duplex we bought.

We had called a realtor listed on a home we wanted to look at and got a bit of a run around scheduling it. The realtor could not seem to understand our budget or our needs. As soon as we talked to Chris he was able to get us scheduled to see the house we had been wanting to look at. Chris did well in helping me secure a home I found and getting the paperwork handled while still living in the lower 48. He is knowledgeable about the local market with years of experience. During the build, there were some conflicts, and Chris did a fair job at working through them. I would recommend him to someone in the local area.

My wife and I were recommended by a friend of ours to use Chris as our realtor and we have nothing but good things to say. Chris is a great relator, he thought out of the box and did everything possible for me to get my home. With any other relator, I probably wouldn't have got the deal that I did for my home. In addition Chris referred me to an amazing contractor, Jerry Rice. Being a single woman and knowing very little about construction, having someone that is trustworthy and honest is critical. Getting Chris to help us buy a home was the best decision we made! He has knowledge, wisdom, and very skilled at what he does. We appreciate that he knows all about the military; that was an extra set of knowledge we needed the person to help us out have. We are in our dream home now and he gets the credit! We wouldn't recommend anyone else, especially if you are military! He is nothing less than an angel in disguise who advocated for us the entire process. I was looking for property and the laying agent ignored me. We used Chris back in 2007 so I gave him a call. Well got the land and got 5k off so I'm happy.
