Booked sight unseen via the telephone. Wanted clean and safe as I am older and by myself. Never up that area before. I was assured it was safe as owners lived on the property.
Was visiting people camping nearby.
I was really surprised,. It was all those things I asked for and So convient to unload as parking is right outside your door. Am looking forward to coming back to stay longer. Great place.

My wife and I spent three wonderful nights at the Rock Ledge for a weekend getaway. Our room was comfortable, spacious, clean and well maintained. The owners Cindy & Jim were wonderful hosts and made sure our stay was too. The staff was super friendly, professional and attentive of our needs.
Its located about a 15 min to the downtown tourist areas, even closer to restaurants, groceries, gas and shopping. We loved being outside the tourist area as its much quieter at the Rock Ledge in the evenings. Its also close to many 1000 Island destinations, Clayton, Wineries, bridge to Canada and as well

Cindy and Jim are such wonderful people. The rooms are extremely clean and very comfortable. It's very peaceful to just sit in the rocking chairs in front of your room and just relax.
We had car issues, they went above and beyond to help. Jim even ran to the NAPA parts store at 8 am on a Sunday morning. Loved our stay and will definitely stay again. If you're going through and need a place to stay very highly recommend.

We loved out stay at the Rock Lodge Motel! Its classic charm was absolutely lovely. The location was very close to all that Alexandria Bay has to offer, but also quiet. We really enjoyed sitting outside for a nice place to relax. We were in town for the Thousand Islands 5k/10k, and it was a nice spot to decompress after a long run. The owners were very kind and helpful. Would definitely recommend the Rock Lodge Motel, and hope to stay there again in the future!

Hotels.com wouldn't let me write one as I was busy enjoying my stay.....that said.... When I book a place, reviews are KING AND QUEEN for me. The reviews on Hotels.com we're amazing,and this PLACE and it's AMAZING OWNERS did NOT DISAPPPOINT. IF every Hotel/Motel was run like this, there would be many many happy travelers. From.the convenience and comfort.... To the cost and customer service this place rocks.... I need to get out of the big box hotels and stay like this more.... 10++++ across the board.... And the neighbor conversation at night..... The best....

I accidentally booked a room in Canada on memorial day weekend. Me my girlfriend and 16 month old needed a hotel room really bad. Unfortunately we couldn't afford the room because the refund was processing. The woman was so nice and kind, she gave us the room at a slight discount so we could stay the night. That's going above and beyond. I highly recommend. Thank you so much Rock Ledge, you're a life saver!!!

I loved this place! We just left. We stayed two nights in the cute available cottage with the two full beds. Great for my husband, myself and our 3 and 4 year old. The town is right there. I don't had our own privacy especially with children. The yard is so big our children ran around safe from the road. The owners were so friendly and warm. We will definitely be back. Affordable for our tiny family vaca! Thank you so much!

Needed a room for 4 and through booking.com found this place
Fast forward to June I arrive after a 5 hour drive
The owner asks how many people I aay 4 she says booking is only for 2 small double cottage can only hold 2
So I look at my booking and it says 4
I can't stay because I have my husband and friends with me
She's so rude telling me it's clearly my fault so I bring up my receipt and it says 4 her face drops and she's like let me talk to my husband
OWNERS ARE RUDE AND CONDESCENDING

Pricing/Decor: Absolutely can't beat it, has incredible pricing in and off season. We spent 75$ for the most ADORABLE cottage (Mind you it is small, just enough space for a bed, dresser with a tv and coffee maker and a sink cause the sink isn't in the bathroom), but that makes it perfect for a romantic weekend). It had two Adirondak chairs outside so we could enjoy some drinks outside at night and our coffee in the morning.
