I just had a consultation with Vida and I was so impressed with her knowledge and kind manner. We discussed my frustration with my under eye bags and she picked the best filler for my situation and added volume to my cheeks as well to give me a nice balanced and refreshed look. Vida took her time to give me the absolute best result. I couldn’t be happier with the whole process, even the front desk was wonderful. The results are already amazing. I wouldn’t go anywhere else, THANK YOU VIDA AND STAFF!

Tina was absolutely and positively above and beyond my expectations. Very knowledgeable and willing to help me look and feel my best. I sincerely can’t say enough good things about her. I felt very comfortable with her and like I could trust her. The receptionist was really great too. I neglected to get her name, unfortunately, so I could mention her more specifically. I complimented her eyelashes and she did everything possible to hook me up with some good lashes like hers. She could have just ignored my interest in getting them but she chose not to.

Update to my prior review: The salon called me after my review and offered me a refund, which they clarified was not in their normal policy, and they offered me another free correction with another stylist. I appreciated that, and I made the appointment with them over the phone. They then asked for me to change my review. Fair enough - 1 star reviews are rough. They then followed up twice by text asking for a review update. Not confirming appointment, but asking when I'll update my review. Unfortunately, they have no idea what's going on in my life and where communicating with salons

I got my nails done with Vanessa at Sechoir in October and I had an amazing experience. I had trouble finding a good nail salon in northern Virginia and my nails were damaged from SNS dip. She gave me polygel tips and I'm in love with how they look and they didn't scrape my nail beds off! She was quick, professional and I've gotten so many compliments on my new set of nails. This is a photo of my nails a week out and they still look perfect. I'm coming back soon!

Update 10/21/21: Another manager from the salon contacted me after updating my review. She said she felt really bad about my experience and wanted to refund me $230 to cover the $160 towing expense and the treatment I was quoted wrong for. I appreciated them making the effort to rectify the situation.
Update: The salon called to check in and ask about my experience. After sharing my grievances, they said they would give me salon credit for the towing expense plus the up charge.
I'm not coming here again for many different reasons. But to put it simply, it just isn't worth it.

I had my second hydrofacial with Mahsa (Yes, we have the same name! :D ) today and loved it.
When I went there for consulting the first time, she very patiently explained all options to me and what would work for my skin the best. She is very knowledgeable and skilled and knows what she is doing!
The first round, my face needed a lot of extractions and she dealt with them very patiently and thoroughly. Not all estheticians would do this in my experience! Today, I did the hydrofacial and added the firming and anti-aging serum and my skin looks amazing. She also did some sort of a light therapy

Alisa left and I was so worried about who would take over, but she ensured me I’d be in good hands. Vanessa started working here and she’s amazing! She takes chances with some of the designs I want and they always turn out amazing. She takes her time to make sure everything is perfect! She can do crazy designs, ombré, and now she can do 3D flowers which I’ll definitely do one day. Highly recommend going to Vanessa, you won’t be disappointed!

I visited Sechoir yesterday for a cut with face framing layers , brown/ash balayage, toner, blow-dry and style with Walid. Prior to coming into the salon, I made an appointment with a request for more time as I have waist length, black virgin hair. I would recommend you do the same if you expect your hair to take longer than usual.
As soon as I settled into the salon, Walid talked me through the process, asked questions about the history of my hair, what I like about my hair and what I want to change and we went through reference pictures for both cut and color.

After seeing all the glowing reviews about Sechoir, I decided to book an appointment for a haircut - however, I left feeling overcharged and disappointed. The salon itself is very beautiful and the check-in process was seamless. Everyone is really nice and friendly. Unlike other fancy salons, this one doesn't offer complimentary refreshments.
As for my hair - it was pretty long and unmanageable since I haven't had my hair cut since pre-covid. The stylist wasn't very talkative, and seemed like he was in a rush the entire time. I don't mind splurging for salon services, but

2 weeks ago I was there and I bought hair pills for $80 without tax. Today I came to buy a new bottle and it was $88 without tax. I asked why is it $88 and they replied "its the same price, we did not change it" I didn't argue.
I was then talking with my mother in OUR NATIVE LANGUAGE that "this is a total rip-off" and someone spoke the same language and jumped in our conversation and said "don't say that". I simply told her "we're not talking to you".
I left the salon

On my last visit alone I spent $350 on a balayage with Walid.
My next appointment was cancelled without communication.

Sechoir surpassed my expectations!
Dunn Loring has REALLY grown and developed recently, this store is located in a lil lookalike town center. The parking is a tad difficult but I just parked in the Harris teeter lot.
Checking in is easy, make sure to take a picture of the lovely flower wall! Great accents in decor. The music was great Arabic music!!
They do nails, threading, facials, fillers, Botox, body massages, and much more.
Doc Vida was amazing. She is so knowledgeable gives a great honest opinion and free consult. I felt 110% in safe, good hands with her doing my procedures.

Had an amazing experience here getting polygel nails done. Would definitely come back again for the beautiful designs Alisa does!! She has an amazing Instagram page of her designs!!
My only issue was that the gel ended up quite thick and I would've liked it thinner but that may have been due to how short my nails were and her having to use the gel to add on to the length.
