Dr. David Lee is an orthopaedic surgeon and fellowship trained in adult joint reconstruction. Dr. Lee specializes in hip and knee arthroplasty including both primary and complex revision surgeries. He provides a patient tailored philosophy to each procedure and surgery based on the patients' comorbidities and lifestyle to optimize function and implant survivorship.
Dr. Michael Kang acquired his doctorate in Physical Therapy at Loma Linda University in 2016 as a recipient of the Warren Trust Fund Scholarship. Being heavily involved in athletics from a young age, Michael developed a precocious understanding of the value of human movement and how its preservation improves our quality of life.
Shoulder arthroscopy is a minimally invasive surgical procedure that uses a 4mm camera to assist with surgery. Rather than make a large incision to open the shoulder, surgeons can put a camera through a small poke hole (portal) and see inside the shoulder. The camera displays the image on a monitor.
The shoulder is a ball and socket joint composed of the arm bone (humerus) and socket (glenoid). The ball (humeral head) articulates with the socket and allows motion at the glenohumeral joint. The shoulder blade (scapula) also moves over the rib cage at the scapulothoracic joint. Shoulder movement is accomplished by coordinated motion at the scapulothoracic joint and glenohumeral joint.
Hip replacement, also known as hip arthroplasty, is an orthopedic surgical procedure to replace the hip joint with prosthetic implants. With hip replacement our doctor will surgically place prosthetic implants to relieve hip pain due to hip arthritis or a hip joint that is injured or diseased.

I saw Dr. Han for shoulder pain about a month ago. I had pain and stiffness that really wasn't improving despite seeing my regular doctor, a sports medicine doctor and 4 months of PT. All of my X-rays and MRIs were normal so it was baffling why things weren't getting better. I finally just googled and found Dr. Han after 18 months of discomfort. I finally got the right diagnosis--frozen shoulder-- within minutes of meeting him. I got my steroid injection and started stretching and had marked improvement in my pain in stiffness literally days after treatment. I wish he was the first doctor

I dropped a relative off for an appointment with Han. He makes senior citizens wait for OVER AN HOUR after a confirmed appointment time in a FREEZING room, while he crams as many patients as he can into this ridiculous excuse for a business he calls a "clinic". His assistant is EXTREMELY RUDE and Han will see a patient for just a few minutes without even a proper diagnosis, before sending them off. If you truly care about your loved ones, find another place to take them for their medical needs.

I'm speechless to describe the treatment I got from 1st visit I went there after many attempts to other respectable doctors to fix my right arm with broken elbow and torn triceps tendon for 3 weeks been suffering in pain and since I had Medical NO DR. wanted to help but Dr. Han took an extra step and guided me through how to get it done ASAP send me to WHITE MEMORIAL HOSPITAL with a note to get this done ASAP as Emergency and was done literally the next day the staff at Dr. Hans office amazing and my nurse Heather Wow she managed all and explained the procedure all the way . So very lucky to have found Doctor Han. He and his staff took me in after an ankle injury at the height of covid 19. The facility is clean- and easy to access and everyone is so friendly, knowledgeable and professional. They have been there for me with my petty concerns as I heal and have made this entire process so smooth. Doctor Han and Heather went out of their way to take me in. The surgery was quick and clean. Could not recommend this practice enough.

Initially everything with the front desk staffed seemed to be great. After seeing Dr. Han that’s when things didn’t go so well. After requesting that I only see him in the room (not the assistant) he declined. He did not ask why or seem to be concerned. He basically said no and that was the end. He made me feel extremely uncomfortable afterwards. The way he worded his questions was very unnatural and aggressive. A complete waste of time. A very unfortunate way to leave a doctors appointment. :(

This doctor office is really great experience of my life. Doctor Han is the best doctor ever I met. Thoughtful and very detail check every times. I got pains on my left shoulder seriously. Another doctor recommended surgery but Doctor Han said don't need surgery, shot must be right spot can be solution. After several hours got shots, my pain was gone without surgery. 2 months past, my shoulder 99% recovered. Absolutely recommended.

Hurt myself rock climbing and came to see Dr Han for my knee instability. Was supremely impressed by his professionalism and ability to simplify the explanation of a complicated procedure. I've heard stories from other patients regarding his exemplary results, and after my surgery I've found my ortho for life. He'll keep the patients concerns first and foremost. His team however really puts the icing on the cake. Explanation of insurance benefits and the kindness of his staff really reflect the company's values. I am currently on crutches. I wanted to get a second opinion on surgery I did in other hospital. I called last week and asked whether my insurance would work. I told them I have problem with walking, so whether they could see if my insurance would work or not remotely. They told me they can only check if I come in physically. The schedule was full so I had to wait a week.
I went in today, and filled out all the forms. 10 minutes later, they tell me my insurance would not work and there is high deductible. Why not just ask for my ID and insurance

Dr. Han is an exceptional surgeon. He did both hip replacements for my father. Both procedures were a success and went very smoothly. He uses updated and minimally invasive techniques which were are essential for fast recovery. Now, what really strikes me in Dr. Han is his compassion and humbleness. The staff is great. They are attentive and professional. The office is very pleasant and clean. My father and my entire family is very grateful for Dr. Han and the work that he has done!

Back in February, I broke my wrist in a snowboarding accident. The next day I went straight to Dr. Han at Han Orthopaedics and I’m so glad I did. Today marks my final 3 month appointment and everything’s back to normal. You wouldn’t even know I broke anything. He was able to fit me into surgery right away and I had absolutely no post-operative complications. Dr. Han and his staff are very attentive and are always looking out for their patients. My mom had a knee replacement from Dr. Han and had an amazing result. Honestly, I was skeptical of her having surgery in Koreatown so I went with her when she decided to have surgery by him and I did my research.

Great caring team! Truly care from the bottom of their hearts no matter how big or small the problem you have! Dr Han is very knowledgable! But its a bit of a wait if you are a new patient but its worth the wait! Very nice facility interior design, gives you a classy feel, instead of a boring mundane waiting room, while waiting.

I was recently hit by a car while riding my bike and endured a pretty severe leg/ankle injury. My ankle was severely dislocated (foot almost pointing backwards) and broke my leg in approx 8 places. I was taken to Hollywood Presbyterian Hospital and received excellent care. I was told I would have to get 2 surgeries. The first to relocate everything back into its place and then another to fix the broken bones about a week later. I have received the first surgery and currently have a bunch of pretty big rods and pins now sticking out of my leg from my foot almost to my knee. As you would imagine

Overall, I do NOT recommend going to Dr. Yung Han's Orthopedics. While there are several reasons as to why I had a terrible experience, I will highlight the two most important reasons (which I hope will serve as helpful feedback for Dr. Han, his staff members, and office communication system).
This summer, I received surgery on my right shoulder (called the rotator cuff operation) because there were issues with my tendons next to my bone. Dr Han is one of the most skilled Shoulder Arthroscopists that I’ve worked with in my 7+ years of experience. Dr Han is passionate in his trade and prideful in his abilities to repair the most complex soft-tissue tears. Three Fellowship trainings for one Surgeon is extremely rare and show through in Dr Han’s high skill level. I would and will recommend Dr Han to my family and friends needing a Shoulder Surgeon.

Went in A couple days ago, Staff was friendly for sure but Dr Han seems to be A know it all,If you point anything out he'll say things like "I know" "I am an expert" etc etc seems to me like the type of guy that would speak about himself as A 3rd person,I don't doubt he knows his stuff but has to bring it down A notch with his bs thinking he knows when and where or how severe A patients pain is,I know my body and where my pain is located and have been diagnosed by several other Dr's Basically he got offended when I told him I wasn't faking any pain like other

The staff (and there's a bunch of em') are really friendly and diligent.
The office is always clean. The office hours can be tricky but manageable. The front office (Jeanette & Jennifer) has/have not failed to contact and give reminders on visits.
Dr. Han answers all/any questions clearly from injury, surgery, to recovery. Very knowledgeable.
