It will be a privilege to be of service to you and to those we have already served, we thank you for your trust.
Services
Milian E. Rodriguez was born and raised in Puerto Rico. Immediately after she founded Rodriguez Funeral Home in 1991 as the first and only Hispanic owned and operated funeral home in Philadelphia and the Delaware Valley.

Being a leader in all aspects of funeral service, she has developed a warm relationship with those who have called Philadelphia home for generations as well as the growing ethnic communities of Philadelphia and surrounding counties serving them in their time of need according to their faith, customs and traditions.
When planning a service, you have many options available to you and we will do all that we can to provide a beautiful and respectful ceremony. No matter your choice, we can offer you a space to join with family and friends in grief, comfort and love. And above all, we will do our utmost to honor your loved one.
We are proud to offer one of the most spacious facilities in our community. Our facility is completely ground level; there are no steps, or barriers and no ramps are needed for us to offer the most handicap accessible facilities in the area. Our staff is available to greet visitors as they arrive providing them with information and orientation of the facilities and service schedule.
Rodriguez Funeral Home is pleased to offer many types of casket to meet the customs and preferences of the families we serve; Metal, Stainless Steel, Solid Bronze, Solid Cooper, Wood, Infant Caskets and Rental Casket. In addition to caskets, burial vaults may be required by the cemetery selected by the family.
Having served thousands of families during the years we've been in business, we realize how difficult it is for people after the loss of a loved one. We understand that planning a funeral involves making difficult decisions at a very emotional and highly charged time. We also understand that a funeral service doesn't have to cost a fortune.

Today we said good bye to my beloved sister. Milian was very accomodating to my family's needs. She allowed me to do my sister's cosmetics and hair and was not intrusive in any way. She gave me the privacy I needed to honor my sister in the way I know how. The facilities are clean, parking was not a problem and everything went according to plan.

Tragically, our beloved family member passed away. From the moment I spoke with Milian at 1am, she was the most kind, compassionate, professional person. She and her entire staff helped us through the loss and made the funeral very beautiful. It was hard to have a loss during the pandemic, but Rodriguez funeral home helped us lay our live one to rest with dignity.

Thank you so very much for all your help!!! Being in Texas, far from our family in Philadelphia, we wanted to contribute in some way and you made it possible for us to do so. I was afraid I sent the video too late for you to be able to show it to the family, I'm glad I was wrong. I don't know how you did it, but was told that you were able to show the video and had all the posters and frames beautifully displayed...THANK YOU!!!!

I have utilized the services of the Rodriguez Funeral Home at least three times in the past several years. The staff are very professional and caring. They are very compassionate and understand the needs of the families. They work closely with you to address the specific plans the family desires. They also address the spiritual needs and are ready to offer different options. They are very flexible to meet the financial needs of the families. One does not have to worry about the process, because they are there with you every step of the way. The funeral home is spacious, clean and provides for a
