I called to determine what dates worked for the owner of the Hotel and he stated there is a strong No Smoking policy and they do not welcome Trump supporters and they subsequently don't have the "Trump Channel", whatever that means. My response was I wont be staying there to discuss politics and that as long as I pay the bill and follow his policies we wont have an issue. He stated, again, that Trump supporters mostly don't stay there and are not welcome, and wont on a tirade of how Trump lies. I politely mentioned that his position isn't probably legal and businesses

We are cycling down to Key West and tried to check in here.
The was no one in the office and only their dog heard the door bell. We tried to call but only got their voice mail
We waited for 15 minutes in vain and then headed out.
The place is not quaint. It's old and tired like all the motels on the A1A
We found a great place in Vero Beach so in hindsight I am happy only the dog was home

Quaint little motel across the street from the beach. It isn't new or polished, but it has a great deal of character. The owners are charming and friendly. There is a very strict NO smoking and NO princesses policy, but that just added to the charm. The owners have a large dog that is super friendly but definitely lets everyone know if you knock on their door.
The room was clean and the AC worked great. The neighborhood is very quiet. The furnishings are not new, but they are very comfortable. Again, that added to the charm for me. The price was fantastic for the area. The rental
