OUTSTANDING ALL AROUND!!!
From the minute you walk till the minute you leave, you are waited on. Best service I've ever had.
Restaurant is very pretty inside. The bar is off to the right and the dining rooms to the left. There are some tables near the bar also.
The appetizers were....
Spiedini, Calamari' and beef Carpaccio. All 3 were equally delicious.
Dinners consisted of, Crab Cakes ( fantastic.. packed with crab meat ), pork chop Giambotta ( perfectly cooked... tender and flavorful). Chicken Milanese ( tender and delicious), orecchiette with sausage was excellent

Visited here for the first time during a week night dinner with coworkers.
Luckily we made reservations ahead of time as this place is very busy and very packed. So packed that the three various levels of parking were full. This part is discouraging.
Service inside was welcoming and friendly while super patient but clearly the staff as well tenured and knows what they're doing.
The menu is quite extensive and has a lot of classic traditional dishes as well as their take on some traditional dishes with their modern approach.

My wife and I decided to celebrate our anniversary last night at Caffe Navona. It was the first time we've been there in quite a few years. Really not much has changed. It's still a nice, cozy restaurant with a piano player providing a romantic touch. Great ambiance!
Equally important is the delicious food. From the bruschetta that's served when you sit, through the desserts, there are lots of great choices. We started off with the Eggplant Fritters appetizer. The atmosphere of the restaurant was so inviting. The patio looked like it would be great to sit at. The pianist was a great touch when walking in. The wait staff was so kind and informative. We started off with the clams appetizer and the sauce that it came in had to be some of the best sauce I have ever had. The chicken was cooked perfectly with a light but flavorful sauce. The raviolis had great flavor. Would love to come back and try more seafood dishes! For our first Italian restaurant in Jersey, this was delicious!

Came here based on the positive reviews. Unfortunately our experience was sub par at best. The appetizer was just ok. The prosciutto was entirely too thick.
The 2 chicken entrees were so tasteless.
I am really at a loss as to all these great reviews. Being originally from New York we find there is a lack of any great restaurants in this area.

Moved to Rockaway during the pandemic and had been eagerly awaiting return to one of our favorite pastimes; going out to eat. We heard such positive reviews of Caffe Navona we knew this would be our first outing. The glowing reviews were spot on! This restaurant is a gem!!!

Found this place from our Banker. I was a little sceptical at first because it does have that upper class atmosphere and I thought I was underdressed. No one cared. They just greeted us like we were like everyone else. The place has a piano so I am assuming there is live music on some events. There are daily specials each and everyday that are hard to choose just one. This place is open for Lunch and dinner.

A friend of mine went here for lunch and just raved and raved about it. So, of course, I had to try it out. I met a girlfriend for a night out during the dine outdoor only Covid time. The tables were well spaced, the cleanliness was noticeable.
The best was that they have live music every night they are open and the French Fig martinis. They are soooooo good. Yes, that good.

I can't say enough about this restaurant. The staff and owner are always very personable. They make you feel at home . The atmosphere is relaxing and comfortable.
All the Italian food is prepared with authenticity and is delicious. The strip steak was impeccable. It was cooked to perfection. It melted in my mouth and honestly was far better than the steak I paid twice as much for at Rails.
It is our go to place. We love it there!

When the owner of the restaurant is helping serve food and drinks then you know this is someone who takes pride in his restaurant. It was a busy Saturday night and the wait staff was in high gear. All the tables were filled and we were seated shortly after we arrived. We were at a table in a quiet corner and despite the crowd and the frenetic pace of the employees we were relaxed and we marveled how the noise level was quite moderate despite the full restaurant. The pianist was talented and played many recognizable tunes. Truly a nice touch and added to the ambiance.
