NorCal Welding, Inc. is a structural welding contractor servicing the Bay Area and Central Valley. Our team of operators carry structural and pipe certifications. We serve government, industrial, commercial and residential markets. Our facility is equipped to handle manufacturing, fabrication and repair projects in Aluminum, Stainless Steel, Cast Iron and Carbon Steel.
We are fully insured with general liability, workers compensation and commercial automobile coverage. Karl Wall is an AWS certified welder and state licensed contractor. He began taking metal shop in the 8th grade and continued for four more years. During his senior year, he trained as a welder for 3 hours a day at the Central County Occupational Center in San Jose, California.

Services
As a welding contractor, we provide a variety of welding and fabrication services in various industries. Our welding operators are certified 3G, 4G and 6G with multiple processes and various metals. We work with prime contractors to provide D1.1 and D1.8 welding on new construction as well as tenant improvements.
Custom high-security gates were built for The Crossings apartment community in Milpitas, CA. The only parts that were purchased were the hinges. We used 1/8" steel for all tube except the 3" x 3" posts which were 3/16". The lock box was also custom fabricated in our shop. This area will be used for a secure package delivery location.

Hi praise to Karl and NorCal welding for helping me out!
Was looking for someone local to weld together an adapter for my hitch to connect with new bike rack. Called NorCal. Karl was great, called back promptly and answered all my questions. I ended up not needing welding work for my job but Karl still helped me tremendously by giving me some scrap metal that fit my application perfectly.
Took the bike out last weekend and everything worked like a charm.

Thank you Karl for your last minute help with a bent hinge for a refrigerator today a HOLIDAY. I called you said you would be there for half an hour. I got there, you took all your equipment out and bent the hinge right back in place. Saved us a bundle on a new fridge or even trying to find the part. Your Awesome!

I saw the glowing reviews, so I came here to have a small welding job done. (I didn't think my job sounded ay smaller than the types of repairs noted on the other reviews.) This shop is located in a small complex along with many auto repair type shops and parking is almost impossible. They were not in the office during the posted hours, so I called the number on the door to see when I should come back. The man who answered asked what type of job I had. I told him I needed a metal leg welded for a dining room table. He said that was too small of a job- he wasn't interested in little

The factory welding on the frame for our total back station came apart. We brought it to NorCal Welding- and what do you know... the welding that NorCal Welding did was much stronger and cleaner than what it was initially. Customer service and workmanship was top notch! Price for service was very reasonable. Should we ever have any welding projects in the future...we'll know where to go.

I contacted Karl to from NorCal Welding to weld a couple of columns to a couple of beams of galvanized 5" x 5" x 1/4" HSS, columns 15', beams 7'.
Each beam was welded atop one column at the precut angle. The first pair was welded lickity split. Karl used 2-stages of welding. Somehow the 2nd pair were misaligned and welded. Karl was quick to cut apart the pair, reposition and reweld, no questions asked - just get 'er done!
Karl drove from Tracy to my home in Santa Clara... on a Saturday. I felt safe in his presence. His work and his attitude are each top notch. He
