Use somebody else.
Jake did not tell me "he did not have time" or "schedule for a later date". He asked me to send him pictures of what I would like done, which I did multiple times, and I never received a response. Pretty disappointing when I was ready and willing to use Baldwin again, and even more so when the response to a bad review is not accurate at all. Also, far too expensive for the service provided.

Very happy with Baldwin Garage Doors. Jake arrived about two hours after my call just like he said he would. He quickly diagnosed the problem, and his price was $175 cheaper than a quote I received earlier in the day. He fixed the issue in about an hour, and our garage door was back up and running. He was quick, knowledgeable and reasonable. Highly recommend!

We were having trouble with our garage door coming off the track repeatedly, when I called Jake he said he would be in my neighborhood in a couple of hours and swing by. He was here right when he said he would be and was able to fix the problem in a few minutes. Jake is very prompt, professional and knowledgeable. He also gave us pointers on how to fix the problem if it happened again. It's great to know that we have such a reliable garage door business here in Moorpark!

Had our garage door jump off the track Saturday evening and was unable to get it closed. Jake had replaced our garage door opener a few years back and we were pleased with the quality of the work. We contacted Jake and he said he could swing by in a hour or so to take a look at it. Jake showed up on time and fixed the problem in short order. We are so happy to have our garage secure again. If you are looking for a quality contractor, you definitely wanted to consider using Jake. He's very knowledgeable and a straight shooter. He's going to do exactly what he says he's going to do.
