Founded in 1961 by Bob Hughes, Clifty Engineering and Tool Company is a 100% CAD/CAM Design, Build & Die Repair shop. Clifty Engineering's core business is the design, build, testing and repair of metal stamping dies for the automotive and home appliance industries. Clifty Engineering has several presses available to provide tryouts for new dies, as well as, die repair jobs. Our presses are primarily for tryout/validation purposes but some short production runs are possible.
With a combined 100+ years of experience, Clifty Engineering's Design Team has a vast knowledge of tooling and is prepared to assist you in designing and manufacturing superior quality parts for your customers. Clifty Engineering utilizes the latest in simulation technology to improve tooling functions and reduce costs.
When unexpected issues arise or regular preventative maintenance is required, Clifty Engineering's talented and experienced Toolmakers can resolve your issues and return the tool to production in a timely fashion. Clifty Engineering's Toolmakers have a combined 150+ years of experience building/repairing dies and solving problems.
