Over 35 Years experience as an adult Neurologist with special training in Child Development and Osteopathic Cranial therapy. A program of monthly meetings was instituted at the Osteopathic Center for Children & Families to provide informative lectures on various aspects of the work of the Center allowing for plenty of time for questions, discussion and valuable contributions from other parents whose personal experiences helped the newcomers.
Dr. Steinecker first treated children on the Autism spectrum with Osteopathic Manipulation over 30 years ago in Israel. She discovered the magic each child holds within and fostered her ability to connect with each of them on a personal level. Autism in children is an important subject of current study.

Providing Osteopathic Treatments for Newborns and Infants in a non-invasive, non-drug remedy to many of the healthcare challenges encountered in the beginning of life. In at least 80% of children with developmental delays, including attention deficits and autism, there is a history of traumatic birth.

Highly recommend Dr. Steinecker! She is so good and talented at what she does. She has treated our son from when he was a newborn. Every time we take him for a treatment, he seems to immediately progress, is more alert, and very often will improve noticeably in the phase he is in—whether it’s fine or gross motor skills or communicating. Dr. Steinecker is also very personable and genuinely cares about the entire well-being of her patients and their families!

Dr Steinecker is an amazing Doctor and there is no one else in the area like her. Despite all of the facilities and resources that we have here in Seattle, it is still very difficult to find a Dr that will know you, remember you, and listen to what you say - AND actually HELP you. Dr Steinecker will. She's the only Dr that I have been to that actually provides relief and gives advice that works. Other Drs that I have been to provide an array of smoke and mirrors, which never get to the core of the issue, and which even ignore and avoid the issues and finding help.
