Serenity Trauma Healing Center is an outpatient addiction treatment and mental health center in Malibu that provides integrative psychological services in Southern California. Trauma, mental health disorders, and drug and alcohol use remain prevalent in the United States. Often, these issues are interrelated.
To allow healing on the deepest level so each client can resolve their issues and re-integrate into their best life. Serenity does not put any client in a group setting which can often be problematic for those suffering with trauma. Serenity changed my life! I was there for 4+ months and was greeted with kindness, compassion, and attentiveness everyday. The staff there are incredible and I’ve learned so much. If you are coming here specifically for trauma, then this is a good place. the website said this place offers pain management and never once has it been addressed in acupuncture or massage and I've been very vocal about what hurts. the website also says that emotional support animals are welcome to help the clients through their treatment, but when I tried bringing my emotional support animal, she wasn't allowed.

As a survivor of 9-11 , I can tell anybody that getting the right type of Trauma care is critical in getting our life back. Joanne is not only a true professional but has the compassion that makes her stand out. I rarely give reviews on FB or Yelp, But I am so excited for and Mike for starting a program that is so needed.
