Granite is one of the most beautiful surfaces there is with it's nearly endless variety of patterns, speckles, and swirls. Granite is heat resistant, and its almost diamond-like strength protects it from scratches and stains from hot pots and pans. It also protects against mold and mildew, something wooden countertops cannot do.
The rest consists of resins and pigments. The pigments are what make these slabs customizable - you can find some manufacturers with a wide array of color options because of this. The resin acts as a sealant, which removes it porous state. This, in turn, makes quartz countertops immune to all sorts of destruction, including scratches, stains, and burns.

This company provided the BEST EXPERIENCE.. BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE … BEST PRODUCTS I have ever dealt with before .. and don’t forget THE BEST PRICE out of six other granite places!! My kitchen is gorgeous and they out did themselves by coming to my home and making recommendations- at no up cost.. It was a pleasure working with Maryland Quartz & Granite on our kitchen project. The entire team was very professional. Matt, in sales, was very upfront and honest during the process. He even reached out after not hearing from me for a few days. I'm sure glad he did, too. We ended up going with this local, family-run business for our new counters. The team that measured for our counters was very thorough and precise. They even offered a few suggestions at that time to make the most out of our new kitchen design.
