I have stayed here 2 times now for a week or more the owners and staff our amazing rooms are updated and extremely comfortable and clean you are close to everything in town and the owners can point you in the right direction I really enjoyed both stays and can’t wait till the next one I work for the railroad and travel a ton truly a great place to stay thanks again

Very well run and making improvements. Really glad we decided to stop in Dunsmuir on our travels.

Easy to book, very hospitable friendly staff. Room was clean and comfortable.
Has a very relaxing night and I usually don’t when I’m away from home.
Very reasonably priced. Location was perfect for all we planned to do in Dansmuir and McCloud.

Clean and nicely furnished. Very friendly and helpful staff. We experienced a flat tire upon arrival and the staff helped us locate a tire service and even pumped up our flat enough to get us to the repair shop saving 1.5 hours waiting for the tow truck. Now that is service!

Just on the other side of the tracks from the Upper Sacramento River, this little quaint motel serves as a fly fishers paradise. Friendly staff and great prices.

Friendly proprietors, extremely clean room with modern building upgrades inside & out. A good value compared to others in the area; many of which were out of our price range. Bedding was a bit heavy on the bleach but during a pandemic, I'd rather smell and see evidence of sanitization than not!

We recently stayed here on our trip to Oregon. The rooms were fresh and Clean and the air conditioner worked great. The man at the desk was friendly. The beds were great!

This "motel" is just great! We stopped here coming and going from Vancouver, WA to Orange County, CA. Friendly, helpful owners Janeen and Amita. Clean rooms and bathrooms, Comfortable king bed. We like the ground floor rooms. Still have blossoming flowers in front. Very reasonable! We will come back....

Great hotel for the evening, super friendly woman checked us in and told us about a lovely walk to the local park!

Such bad vibes and rude lady at the counter.. place is rundown & dirty and really bad location.. so much beautiful competition for the same price. Zero stars!

We were headed home from a long trip and trying to find a hotel that did not allow pets as I am allergic. I called this hotel and the person that answered the phone told me that they do not take pets. When I told him I wanted to get a room he said he wanted to let you know that even though they don't allow pets there's a possibility that someone would've brought the pet into one of their rooms. I told him I appreciated his honesty. The room was very clean and the bed was perfect for us, firm! Also, they had a few breakfast items that had us headed on our way with some nourishment

We were pleasantly surprised to find this cute little motel. The staff is so friendly and the room is really clean. We highly recommend it.

Good location near downtown and the property appears to be well maintained. However it faces the main road through town and you can hear every car and truck that drive by because the door and window are poorly insulated. Light sleepers be weary.

This place is just perfect for the price. Rooms are very clean. The property is well maintained. The coffee served with the free continental breakfast is pretty good for a motel. The managers/owners(?) are very pleasant. I'd stay here again.

Awesome place to stop and get a good nights rest. The most comfortable bed in a hotel ever. The staff were excellent, garden was really nice and the rooms were clean. We will stay again next time we are in the area.

The Dunsmuir Inn and Suites EARNS A TOP REVIEW for many reasons: the grounds are extremely clean, the rooms are spacious and immaculate, even the way the shower curtain is neatly draped over the tub shows that they take pride in details. Once you meet the OWNERS, it IS quickly apparent that THEY are very kind HARD-WORKING people who care for their customers!

The most expensive hotel had a lot of little things wrong,peeling wallpaper & paint,bad electrical outlets and my shower was well past my ankles by the time I was done with the drain not working mentioned this to the management and was told by owner ,nobody told me but yet he didn't even ask what room I was in. nice paint on the outside but you should never judge a book by its cover. Continental breakfast is a joke consisting of coffee two kinds of juice one kind of cereal and gas station danishes some apples and yogurt

A cozy,compact and comfortable place to stay at.
I always give importance to service and sanitariness n I was quite satisfied with the way they have kept the inn.
Do not expect much for breakfast,coz all u get are some cereals and freshly brewed coffee.
You have a microwave,a fridge,a television,a full sized mirror, air conditioning and a coffee maker.
All the salient amenities for a day's stay or two.
But most importantly its squeaky clean.
NB: There weren't light bulbs in the washbasin area which made it a bit difficult to move around.
I hope the management takes care of it.

Friendly and helpful family ran business. The owners printed some documents for me. The rooms are clean. Bathroom contains natural, organic shampoo. Bed comforters are pretty. Room has a fridge, a microwave and coffee maker. If you are checking in early, come around 1:00pm.

Stayed here one night on our way home to Orange County, CA from our road trip to Forks, WA. The owners were both very friendly and the place is quiet. Beautiful area. Would definitely stay again if I'm ever in town!

What's the point of offering AAA discounts on your signage if there's no discount?

Because of the owner of this establishment, I give it a four star rating. I'd have given it a five except that the wifi service was very unreliable for my taste. As a person who travels for business 80% of the year, wife has become a staple for our business that I depend on more and more. Because of this, where I stay is based on this alone.

That being said, there are four of us staying here, and none of us had any issues with this motel. The owner went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. He accommodated our crazy unpredictable schedule quite well.
