Pinky's Cafe is family owned and operated, offering creative comfort food, cooked from scratch. We pride ourselves on incredible service and a family-oriented atmosphere in our new and improved, comfortable dining setting in the heart of downtown Livingston. Pinky's has been a staple of Livingston for over 20 years.
Originally opened by Terry and Rich Ruggles, it was purchased in 2014 by Morgan and Jessica Milton. It has been a regular haunt of local artists and writers. Morgan Milton, chef and owner, grew up on a ranch north of Roundup, Montana. Pinky's is truly a family endeavor for the Miltons. The restaurant serves beef from the ranch he grew up on and his mom, Dana makes all the bread for the restaurant.

Services
We were visiting from Seattle to see our Livingston family and decided to go out for a stack one morning. Pinky's is the perfect diner. Good food, great service, and cozy atmosphere. I am gluten free, and they had a gluten free stack! 4 months later, we're still hankering for Pinky's. Breakfast was incredible, eggs Benedict are the way to go, but it was a hard choice between them and coconut waffles!

Pinky's was a great experience. This small diner was decorated to look more like a bed and breakfast. The food was creative yet simple at the same time, which was a reflection of the design choice. The staff was friendly and the locals were even friendlier. Great place to stop for some breakfast if you're in the area or about to head into Yellowstone.

We were visiting my husband's hometown and decided to stop for breakfast- this place was hopping and we had a 30-minute wait for breakfast. That gave us time to walk the dog, as we were traveling with an RV. Service was great, and lots of classic and unique offerings for breakfast. It's a small place, bustling, and seating is fairly close together. They have limited counter seating as well.
I had the waffle-bennies - bacon waffles with perfectly poached eggs and hollandaise sauce. My husband had the biscuits and chicken fried steak with gravy. Really good biscuits!

I gave this a three only because of the guy who greeted us the way he did. The front of the house manager was very nice, the food was hot when we got it.
We let the manager know what this guy was up to and how he was behaving.
If you don't like your job because your attitude indicates your too good to seat people, wrap silverware, etc., then you need to find out where you would be happy.

Pinky's is a cute spot to have breakfast with great service! The indoor area has a few tables and booths as well as a small amount of bar seating in the back. We both had the Biscuits and Gravy and although other reviews said it was some of the best they've ever had, we both thought it was just OK. But we may have just come on an off day and we would still come back again to try something else!

Chalk one up to the Zoomers. Their website and Yelp said the place was to open at 7:30am. People in there working. No door open. 7:45am a zoomed with keys is dropped of by someone woman. He lets himself in and licks the place up again. Waited until almost 8am. 6 people left. Got to love these zoomers

This little diner in Livingston is such a cute gem. Fresh as if it's new, with cleanliness at the forefront and some of the friendliest, most welcoming staff I've encountered in a while.
I got the breakfast sandwich and it was delicious. Egg, sausage, cheese on an English Muffin with some fruit on the side...and such a delicious buttermilk style chocolate chip pancake on the side. Of course I sampled my husband's fried potatoes which were so herby and fresh, you could tell it was freshly prepared (no frozen taters here).
Small place with some tables outside too. Really cute,
