In 1988, Robert McClellan started in the marine industry making components for local boat manufacturers. That local industry changed and so did the McClellan business. Robert worked for a leading countertop fabricator for many years as a lead manager. He was very successful in his career and then the recession hit with the deep depression in the construction industry.

TDI Marine canopies are made from some of the best vinyl in the market offering a six year warranty. Our vinyl is welded, not sewn, which increases the strength of the seam and eliminates any concern for leak issues. Our canopies are offered in 11 popular colors with beautiful orange peel emboss designed for anti-fading, fungus, and mildew resistance.
The design was originally engineered to help reduce the flex of the cradle boat bunks on boat lifts during strong winds. The same product is now being used for the upper structures of boat canopies for the same purpose of better support. In the tropical heat with high humidity, a boat cover attached to the boat directly holds heat and moisture that promotes mold and mildew, plus stresses the finishes on the boat.
All TDI Marine boat lift canopy frames have a limited lifetime warranty for any defects and workmanship. The boat lift canopy vinyl is guaranteed for six years. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear. Warranty is limited to replacement or repair of damaged product only at TDI Marine discretion.
