Calhoun’s is a life saver. My family was traveling home from the U.P. and had engine trouble and were stranded. They got us in right away and repaired our minivan and got us back on the road. Very helpful and professional. Very fair price. And just plain easy and nice about it all. Not sure if I’ll ever need them again, but if you do, don’t hesitate to use them!

Fantastic experience. My truck broke down on the freeway at about 10:00 at night on my way to a friend's cabin. I was able to get it to a gas station for the night. Gene answered his phone that night and said he would take care of it. First thing the next morning he towed it, diagnosed the problem as the fuel pump, called with an estimate, and rearranged his mechanics' schedules to get it fixed in time for me to leave town two days later. Could have been a major hassle, and these guys made it easy. Big thanks!

Stopped at Calhoun's Auto Repair to see if they could fix a tire for the trailer I pull behind my motorcycle. The gentleman behind the counter asked if I wanted to just drop it off or wait. I chose to come back. Little did I know that that would be only ten minutes. They had my tire repaired and ready to go. This was done with no appointment and them having a full scheduled day. Great service, great people and a fantastic price. They could've easily gouged me being an out of towner.
Nice to know that there are still some honest people out there.

Our car died on highway 8 pulling a snowmobile trailer. Their tow truck was there quickly and they pulled our trailer behind the tow truck back to the shop. They did a quick diagnosis just before the shop closed and repaired the car first thing the next morning. We were on our way and only lost half a day of sledding. Very nice people and very reasonable rates.

Broke down on a late Thurs afternoon an hr. from home. Sat almost 2 hrs on a fairly warm day while roadside assistance tried to find a local tow truck co. that would answer their phone. Calhoun's did & picked us up in a short time. They were able to do the repairs very quickly & we picked up our car the next morning. They were very friendly & did a great job! We would DEFINITELY do business with them again.
