Northwoods Auto Techs in Rhinelander, WI, has remained a top choice in auto repair in the area since we first opened our doors in 1990. Our shop owner, Paul Marquardt, has been in the automotive industry for over 40 years. Paul received most of his training from aftermarket training and was an automotive instructor at a local technical college for about 18 months.
Northwoods Auto Techs has 3 Full-Time Automotive Technicians (2 who are Master Techs and the 3rd Tech working towards achieving his Master Certification), 2 Full-Time Service Advisors as well as the owner who also is a Master Certified Auto Technician. We have 5 working bays, 4 of which have a hoist, 1 service truck and 4 loaner vehicles.
The staff at Northwoods Auto Techs is GREAT! I have been taking my vehicles there for over 10 years now and I'm still treated with courtesy and friendliness. This was unexpectedly a great experience. I went here because of the great reviews expecting them to be totally overinflated, and was shocked to find they are actually really really good. On top of great prices and friendly knowledgeable service they also had a loaner car. Our car was too broken to drive and the fact that my husband could still get to work while they were fixing it actually brought me to tears.

Ronnie was very helpful, and she worked to get my sister's car in the shop quickly. The shop did a great job inspecting the vehicle, and they made recommendations that were backed up by explanations. I also appreciate them only charging me for the actual time for diagnostics. Really appreciate the assistance!!
