Waitress extremely nice. Onion Mum very crisp and good.. Even though wings were ordered well done, some had uncooked chicken near bone. My Mahi Mahi not up to par, husband cheese burger looked like a frozen patty. All rice and bean sides served cold. Out of 2 of 4 desserts offered. Saturday before Christmas should have been crowded, almost empty at 1. Used to be much better and a true destination.

I was underwhelmed by this establishment. I had the sea scallops that came with beans and rice. There did not appear to be seasoning on the rice and beans and the scallops.
Can we also address their women's bathroom?!? There are no doors on the stalls and no walls. Just shower curtains. Seriously this is just weird. I'm paying $30 for scallops but you can't have doors on your stalls.
If I never went back it would be too soon.

Had the crab cake special - basically was two ice cream scoops of some crab concoction which they charged me $26 for. Came with very salty green beans and yellow rice.
Had the frozen mango dessert which all you could taste was the raspberry sauce that was on it - the dessert was pretty tasteless.
Got out of there with low tip for $60 for the two of us. Basically gave two stars as the tea was good but everything else was very very very disappointing.
Would I go again - probably not as there are some nice places in Augusta that you can dine for at $60 which are superb.

The place was very cozy if you are wanting to date night away from big crowded restaurants. The food was wonderful. This was my first time dinning here but I enjoyed everything from staff to the atmosphere.
However, you will definitely need your GPS app to locate the restaurant. Overall, everything was GOOD & I will revisit again.

Food is delicious! The puff pastry was like tasty chicken pot pie but flakier and in a pie. Their salad is absolutely delicious, and I eat salad about once a year so you know it's got to be good to get someone like me to eat it all up. Driving in the dark to this place was a little weird and I was concerned I took a wrong turn about 75% of the drive but it turned out well worth it! Definitely would recommend!

More of a local’s vibe. Location is not ideal and parking could be a problem at busier times (we are early).
Food was okay; good but not 5-star.
Ate outside and attacked by mosquitoes and no fans on in outdoor area. But comfortable seating and table.
Our server was knowledgeable but not as attentive as other servers at other tables.
Not a place we will regularly go. A once or twice a year type of place for us.

Most disgusting food in the area.
1. Sat outside and discovered that less than 3 feet away there was a hanging "fly catcher bag" that was filled with hundreds of flies and smelled like death. Disgusting. We moved tables.
2. Wings Appetizer was burnt and dry (actual black burnt edges). Couldn't eat it.
3. Hamburger bun was so hard and the patty so dry that trying to chew the combination was almost impossible. Again didn't (should I say couldn't?) eat it.
4. "Crab meat sandwich" was very much a frozen patty and had a fishy flavor. Husband didn't eat it.

Food wasn't bad. We ordered a blooming onion. Said they were out of shrimp pate. The waiter never refilled our drinks unless we specifically asked. He completely got my order wrong and put it in right when we were ready to leave. He was a very nice kid but maybe the owner should have better training and better policies for completely botching people's meals (discount or comp?). Dissatisfied with service. Crab cake sandwich was not proportionate to price.

If by coastal you mean the questionable creek that runs behind it then ok. Not worth the hype and definitely not worth the money. Make reservations because if you sit outside you will be swatting flies the entire time! The flies were crazy. I ordered the shrimp and grits and it was the worst mistake I had made all day, besides driving to Augusta to begin with. Never had grits with the taste and consistency of Thanksgiving dressing. It was gross, like really gross. Maybe the cook thought it was dressing. The shrimp were nonexistent and located on the bottom of the microwaved dish. They were chewy

Wow, this place is not as good as it use to be. Two weeks ago we went for dinner. We sat outside, which is a nice area to eat, it's covered in case of rain. The chicken wings were dry and did not taste freshly made. The salad did not taste fresh, either. Though the chef's special scallops were delicious at that visit! Last Friday we went back. We waited AN HOUR and 15 min for our food after ordering! I had the chicken cooked in puff pastry which was VERY GOOD. They had run out of a few things we wanted, so could not order them. I have never waited that long for food at ANY restaurant before. The

This place had high reviews on Goggle so I had to check it out. The atmosphere was very relax. I was able to sit outside on the back patio, although I didn't have a reservation. I could tell by conversations I was hearing that the restaurant had frequent regulars, which is a very good thing. The waiter I had was very tentative. I ordered the blackend Mahi Mahi and this is the only reason why I am giving the restaurant a four instead of a five. The Mahi Mahi was a little dry, but the red potatoes were very flavorful. The house salad was really good too. I also ordered an Island Rum Punch and the

What do I love about the beach? Oh the list is endless. The smell of the ocean, the sun wrapping like a blanket, the feeling that somehow you've found a "Pause" button for life. And, a relaxing restaurant. It can be at the beach or nearby, but it just has to have that laid back/Jimmy Buffett feel to it. Along with some seafood and good drinks. And after 11 years in Augusta, come to find out there's a comparable place here!
The tin roof looks like it's been beaten by years of ocean spray, the decor is a mix of parrots and sea shells, and the menu is on point. But first

The food and the cocktails have always been spot on. Prices are reasonable for the quality and quantity of what you are getting. Service has always been very good. The atmosphere is nice as well. This is one of our favorite places to take friends and family when they visit because it's always such a great experience.

Shadrick the manager did a fantastic job coordinating the scheduling the surprise dinner He made sure we had everything that we needed. Robert our server was polite and professional. He was quick with our service and very accommodating. We had a party of 9 and our food came out on time aNd together. Everything was delicious. No one sent anything back or had any complaints. The scallops and crab cakes was so die for. I would definitely make a second visit.

A hidden gem in the most unpredictable corner of Augusta. When going for a meal here if you think your GPS is taking you to the wrong location just trust it.
Rae's is nested in middle of houses in a development. There is even tennis courts behind the patio of the restaurant.
On a beautiful day definitely opt to be seated outside.
Food is good and so is the service. Please note the menu was more limited that what can be found online. It might be that we were there for lunch. Onion mum is a must, it's like the blooming onion from Outback but better.

Very hard to find place tucked inside a neighborhood. The plus is that it's very secluded/exclusive and that there's an amazing view of the creek in the back of the cafe!
I came with a large party for dinner on a Friday night, and the place seemed super packed. The waiter took about an hour to take our orders, an hour for the food to come out, and an hour for our check to come. Overall the service was slow even for serving a large party.
The food was pretty good. The bloomin' onion was delicious, and the chips + black bean dip was even better. I especially enjoyed their she-crab
