It is nice how they are maintaining the old East End Carnegie Library for different venues. It is one of Cincinnati's East End treasures that has been rebranded. The area is surrounded by many historical buildings that made it through The Flood.

In terms of wedding receptions, it's a great venue. The large entrance area is great for cocktails, Hors d'oeuvres, etc. and the other area is for dining and dancing. In the basement, there is a private area for preparations, which is very well thought out. The staff here were very nice. I believe parking here is a bit sparse, so I'm not sure how they accommodate, if not for valet parking.

Great place for my sons wedding. The food was excellent and the staff did a great job. They seemed to anticipate our needs before we knew we needed them. Will recommend this venue to everyone.

Great venue for a party or wedding, beautifully restored historic library. Not enough stalls in ladies room, or parking, but that must be expected in an older building & neighborhood.

Nice space for an event. Basement can be used as staging area for catering. Men's women's and Family bathrooms. Just be aware that if your having an evening event in the summer, the sun really blasts through the front windows. They have blinds but note they have to he pulled BEFORE you hang anything from the screw eyes or you can't close the blinds.

I appreciate each opportunity to be inside this beautiful Carnegie Library and that Cincinnati's historic love of education afforded us so many of these structures. It is a beautiful setting for an event and the wood floor is typically a great dancing surface. The bathroom is nicely renovated.

Very cool spot with lots of character.
The acoustics, however, are abysmal! Reverberant energy seems to never dissipate! I feel for the poor DJ that takes a wedding reception gig here. It would be an entire night of hearing complaints about the sound from everyone, and all of them thinking it's his/her fault when really, it's all because of the room.
Ironically, this used to be a library. When this place was quiet I'll bet every sound would have seemed much larger. A whisper in one corner of the room would have rang out like a scream through the whole place.

The Carnegie Center is a historical venue that hosts more than just weddings. But I had my wedding there on August 30th, 2014 and it was beautiful. I think it is a smaller venue, but our guest list had 125 people and it was perfect for that size. The building is broken up into 3 segments, a large room, the middle, and a smaller room where the bar is. The smaller room is great for any other activities you want to have (we had a photo booth). We received compliments all night long about how they thought the venue looked fantastic and beautiful. The only negative was that you do have to be out by

Worst experience of my life. I had an appointment with Jeff to tour and see if this would be a good venue for my daughter's wedding reception. I was told over the phone, we would be able to discuss details at that time and would be given information to take with me. During the meeting, as any customer would, I simply asked a question regarding ambiance and the caterer in charge lost his temper and responded in anger and with a raised voice and threw us out of the building. It was a very frightening experience for my daughter and me. I am not recommending this venue to anyone.

Our daughter's wedding reception was at the Carnegie Center of Tusculum on September 13th. We could not have been more pleased with the event. The Carnegie Center and Jeff Thomas Catering did a fantastic job. If felt like we were hosting an intimate party for 225 of our closest friends. The attention to detail by the Carnegie and Jeff Thomas Catering was second to none. You will be tempted to put some food in your pocket to take home.
The lighting at the Carnegie in the evening was unbelievable. We were awestruck. It was a soft, warm and enchanting reception.
We also were fortunate to have the
