Winter Haven Dermatology is a general dermatology practice treating patients from newborn to 100 + years old. Our focus is on skin cancer but we provide assessment and treatment for all skin conditions. We consider every patient unique and deserving of an individual approach to their skin problems.

Some of the therapies we offer include biologic therapies for psoriasis and eczema, oral and topical treatments for acne, biopsies, topical chemotherapy, cryotherapy, electrodessication, surgical excision and Mohs micrographic surgery. For those cases where the necessary treatment is beyond the scope of our practice, we partner with our trusted colleagues in the community to achieve the desired outcomes.

While it's important to wash your face, washing too many times a day can irritate your skin, causing new breakouts. Are you faithfully treating your acne but still seeing new breakouts? Your skin care routine could be to blame. If you wake up to find a few large pimples on your otherwise clear face, you may consider that severe acne.
Working out affects skin in good and not-so-good ways. Here is how to protect it while getting fit. Working out regularly can help maintain your weight, boost your overall mood and self-esteem, motivate you to eat healthier, and do wonders for your skin. Prevent acne: To remove sweat during a workout, use a clean towel and gently pat the sweat from your skin.

Dr Oliva removed a cyst from my back that was large and irritating. He explained every step and I felt no pain. I healed up quickly and needed no pain medication. The receptionist was cheerful and professional. I will definitely return, if I need further care!

I waited in the waiting room for 40 minutes. I asked the front desk how much longer and she said you're next. They called two more before me. As I got up to ask for my copay back they called me. Do they not care we have things to do also and should never double and triple book patients.

I got infected with more than one skin parasite through a "new" epilator that I bought to remove the hair of my arms. Apparently it had been used, returned, and re-stocking to resale before, without stick any advise on the package.
Dr. Oliva has many certificates and diplomas hanging from the walls of his office, however he was unable to diagnose my sickness, although I gave him samples of what coming out from my skin. He washed his hands referring me to another Specialist, meaning another month or more of waiting and hoping to be healed. I consider that he acted very unprofessional, irresponsible
