My last visit with Cheryl went smoothly. She is very professional and gets to the areas of concern without much ado. The reason for not giving a 4-star rating is due to communication issues with the health insurer regarding referrals and scheduling. The patient should not have to be in the position to ask for a referral for each and every visit. After a time, scheduling should become routine without a need for all of the extra phone calls, faxes and the like. Authorization from the insurer for even a simple procedure is another problem, which is not your fault.

I have been a patient here for many years. I believe I get the best possible care for dermatology. I almost always see Cheryl, the nurse practitioner, and she is awesome! She is always patient and thorough. All of my questions and concerns are addressed. The assistants, both front and back, are kind and friendly. That means a lot when someone is already nervous about a lesion or test result. Many thanks to all!

Kristin at the front desk was amazing and Miss Cheryl, Leah, Kristin and the other sweet assistant (Michelle?) all took the all took such incredible care of us. My daughter had to get stitches, and it was not the easiest thing. They were all so sweet and understanding of the situation and we couldn’t have asked for better care. Thank you all for your kindness.

Staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to answer questions and explain things. I'm very impressed with Cheryl. She explains what she's doing and always makes sure you understand. I will refer my grandson to Florida Dermatology. They make appointments to the point that you don't have to spend a long time waiting in the waiting room.
