Well it's about a good as it could be for me as an employee working for the owners of the establishment living in this motel as housing for the summer I don't have many other places I could even go in a relative close walking distance to where I work

Angie the front desk person is about the nicest person you can meet on your travels. Just a 9 minute walk downtown. Pool is clean.

Very old fashioned but has a nice room during my experience there was no water but it was just because of a bug in the system and they have us are money back it could use some updates to there rooms tho

Our stay was decent enough and the staff was very nice, but I was expecting more for how much we paid. My first impression of the room was a very musty odor and 1970s decor (literally not updated since the 1970s). There was a refrigerator but no microwave in the room and despite what we were told upon booking, no breakfast was provided. The pool was decent; it was very shallow (4 ft at the deepest) but that was perfect for my little kids. The only redeeming quality of this motel is that it is so close to town so we could walk everywhere

July, 2014 - took a day trip to Boothbay Harbor, ME to eat lobsters, walk around the harbor and take a boat tour. We stayed here at Seagate Motel on the recommendation of another motel that was full. It was in EASY walking distance to town. On the walk you will pass many great shops, stores, historical society museum, and restaurants all before the busy commercial street and harbor. Mary, the owner, welcomed us and was very helpful, talkative, and engaging. My husband is tall and Mary was able to give us a double room with extra long beds. The accommodations are basic with air conditioning/heat

We have stayed at the Seagate for many years, usually over the Fourth of July. It is the closest thing to being at home as you can get. Fair prices and clean rooms.
We bring many guests when we stay there (family & friends). Never been a complaint.
See you there this summer!
