Crew came
Told me no hoses and or generator was available for my 22’ 700$ Rented water slide
Went home compromised for my party real quick got two hoses and two generators
Wife was upset I called owner
He wouldn’t even compromise or let me know that we had the option to rent a hose or water slide
Very rude disrespectful on phone joe “ owner alakai party rentals “
Told me they pick and choose who they tell or give the option to rent out equipment
Only option to rent on website was water bags to hold tents down nothing else
Asked where was

I am very unsatisfied with their ability to communicate! I have used alakai for a previous party and never had an issue. Last year we booked with them for my keiki’s 1st Luau, then covid shut down everything. I had already paid for half of my rental invoice, so they promised me a 1 year raincheck, but now that I’m trying to use my 1 year raincheck, I am having the hardest time trying to get In Contact with them. I have called numerous times over the last month, emailed and texted all points of contact, left messages and received 1email back. I immediately answer back with all dates/times/details

We had an awesome time with the big slide! It was so much fun for the kids we rented a bounce house with another slide. Prices are fair and equipment set up and break down is professional and prompt. JP kept us informed at all times and adapted to our needs. When you’re stuck at home during a pandemic this is a great way to keep the grandkids happy.

No complains at all, Alaka'i Rentals did great for us! We needed table and chairs for a baby shower and costumer service was great! Quick response, quick delivery, helpful in the amount of tables and chairs we needed, all in all a very positive experience! Will recommend to family & friends and use again in the future!

Thank you Alaka’i rentals. We had a very successful Honolulu Intertribal Powwow on the weekend of October 5&6 much attributable to you rental. We got prompt and efficient delivery of tables, chairs, canopies, and a stage. No hassle delivery and pick up. Sturdy equipment made arranging and setting up much easier. Great Job!!!

I highly recommend ordering from Alaka’i party rentals the prices are right and Pon is very patient and helpful let me tell you I called him too many times to say! I ordered from Alaka’i rentals last year as well as this year, there team arrived on time and dropped off quickly and asked where everything should go.
We were very pleased with there delivery. They picked up on time waited till it was all taken down( they even helped break down) then loaded there truck. Now that is going above and beyond. That’s what I look for in a service company, we will definitely will be ordering from them

Alaka'i Party Rentals provided two margarita machines and other various items for a golf event we were putting on at work. The team came out early, they were friendly, nice, and stayed until everything was up and running. There were some issues with the margaritas freezing (because we didn't follow directions) and they were available on call all day to troubleshoot. They were on time to break everything down and even offered to help lift and move items that weren't part of the rentals. I will be using them again!
