They deserve no stars. Look out for the automatic contract renewal clause in the contract. Yes, it's a trick and they will never contact you to tell you that they are "automatically" renewing your contract every year no matter how many years you've been with them. As a matter of fact, they won't ever contact you unless they think you owe them money. They have been "so called" automatically renewing my contract since 2013. They will auto renew for the rest of your life. I've been with this company for many years. The previous owner was a friend of the family and the service was outstanding. I stayed

TL;DR One star is too high a rating for this operation. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY
My business was broken into. I came into my building to find my alarm was still set. I called ERS and they informed me that someone would come out to look at the system. No one ever did.
Thankfully when I signed up, I opted to only contract with them for a year. This break in occurred only a few days after the anniversary. They informed me that the contract was evergreen and renews if not cancelled before the end of the contract.
Long story short, they harassed me, and sent me threatening letters from a shady

I'm with Dale, they fine print a 2 year contract if you upgrade something. I paid for the upgrade, was not told I was signing an annual contract much less a 2 year contract. Now they have sold their monitoring to another company I'm told, ADT. I upgraded my entire system with an ADT system and paying for their monitoring so it appears I'm now paying for two ADT accounts even though I no longer have the Emergency Response system installed.

We've used Emergency Response for many years now at our businesses and our homes. They have the absolute best customer service and stand behind their work. You can always get a hold of someone when you're in need of help and that is really comforting when it comes to alarm systems. I'd recommend them to anyone.
