Shak was out to quote to repair my Maytag dryer that was squealing loudly while spinning on Labor Day. No extra charge for Labor Day holiday. Ordered parts and was back out to repair 2 days later. Repair and replacement of rollers and belts were completed in about 30 minutes. Shak was very knowledgeable and friendly. He showed me the damaged parts after the repair and cleaned the area where he worked. From the first day I requested service, they kept me updated. Our refrigerator went out while we were on a mini vacation. It was very upsetting to come home and find it had gone out. We tried calling another repair service only to be told it would be two weeks before they could come out. I found Frank and sons on yelp and decided to give them a call. A very quick appointment was obtained within 24 hours. Frank and his son were very professional and personable. Easy to schedule an appointment, available the next day, great communication of when repair man was 30 minutes out. The repairman came to troubleshoot our dishwasher. We gave him the error code, he asked if there was any broken glass in there, I said I didn’t know. He diagnosed the issue as the drain pump needed replacing at $400. Because it was so much money, My husband spent 3 minutes on google and after 5 minutes looking around inside, found a small broken piece of a bowl in the drain. He removed it and the dishwasher worked again. The repairman didn’t even look in the drain before diagnosing

Frank did all he could to try to fix the washer I bought used online, but it had too much damage. He did the right thing and told me just to get a new washer because the repairs would cost that much anyway. He was extremely fair and honest, and his team was attentive and great to work with. I can't recommend these guys highly enough!

I had my refrigerator repaired by Frank & Sons last month and I thought the price was slightly high, but went forward with it anyway. It did stop working again a few weeks later, but they came first thing the next day and fixed the problem at no charge. I can say without hesitation that they stand by their work and are worth the money.

We had an issue with our front door ice/water panel not working. On advice from the person I spoke to on the phone he said to try replacing the filter (thinking in my mind how would this fix a problem with a front door panel), I replaced it anyway. I waited about a week and this did not fix the problem.

This is the kind of business that you will see on Dateline TV in the Consumer Beware section. First off, you call a repair company that has experience so they can fix the problem. In short, their "experienced" technician misdiagnosed a very costly repair. I was suckered into paying 1/2 the cost of a new appliance to repair - Just for them to say, the problem was totally something else and now it's going to cost 1/2+ for them to complete the repair. The troubling thing is they never flinched when asking for 2x more money. They never said, "oops we messed up." Needless

Terrible service. They sent out an unqualified unprofessional hack to repair /calibrate the thermostat in my new Thor oven. After taking my oven apart he stated the thermostat could not be adjusted. And that no new ovens thermostats were adjustable. Which is funny because Thor sent me a pdf showing how to adjust the thermostat in my range. He also stated any loud or strange sounds coming from a range were not fixable if the range came that way from the factory. ??? Never ever would I pay to have frank and sons work on my appliances.
