The Cadre Building is a 36,000-square-foot historic landmark that features an elegant 13,000-square-foot grand ballroom with an overlooking 2,500-square-foot mezzanine. Built in 1928, our rooms are complete with a classic look, accented with brilliant crystal chandeliers, intricately crafted columns detailed with hand-painted, gold-leaf molding and champagne-hued drapery.
At The Cadre Building, there are no hidden fees. We have no charge for setup, breakdown or cleanup for your event. Also, your event reservation includes a walk-through with our staff a month prior to your event in order to finalize an event diagram and ensure your event will be perfect. In addition, we offer a variety of options to purchase for your parking needs, such as pre-paid parking in a nearby garage or valet service at our front door.
Betsy has been the Director of Sales for The Cadre Building since January of 2014. She is your first point of contact and handles the sales and advertising processes for the building and leads site visits of the space. Betsy walks clients through the online reservation system, handles all bar and rentals quotes, and is in charge of client billing and anything financial.

I've attended 2 weddings at the Cadre within 1 year and both times it was really nice. Although I had to go behind the curtain during a wedding recently t tell the servers to be quiet. They were actually laughing and talking loud enough to disturb the guests sitting in the hall. Besides that, this is a beautiful place for a wedding or other special event.

Attended a wedding there Sat 8/17. Nice spot but be careful, several of our phones were stolen off tables once the dancing started. Such a shame as those phones had all the pictures we took that evening. Pinged the phones a mile away once we realized they were gone. Never found them. Lots of temps working the event and people in and out the front door...need to watch your stuff

Attended a wedding here on 8/17. Other than the fact that our family had two phones stolen off of our dinner tables while we were dancing, this is a very nice venue.
We tracked our missing phones using the location finder and it showed that they were 2.5 miles away in South Memphis. The phones were shut off shortly after and we were unable to retrieve them. The wedding planner was great in this process but the rest of the staff were no help.

Gorgeous venue! Spacious and beautiful, this space is perfect for special events and makes for amazing photos! I attended an awards reception here and was blown away! The different levels make for great staging areas for coat checks, bars, seated dining areas, buffets, photo booths, and really the sky's the limit! Even the bathrooms were fancy with big mirrors and lounge areas with sofas and chairs. The columns and chandeliers we're lovely. In fact, everything about the Cadre Building was lovely!

This place is beautiful. I actually came here for prom back in 2007 (or 2006?). It was beautiful back then and is still beautiful now. I love the setup with the main room, downstairs bathrooms, middle section for events and pictures, and top balcony. I remember being at prom and staring down at everyone dancing down below. I adored the chandeliers then and I love it now. I'd definitely have a part here if I could afford it!

Very beautiful location for a wedding reception, I don't know how much it was to rent, but it was very elegant with columns outside, and elegantly decorated walls and ceilings inside. Chandeliers were very nice, and balcony and steps in the back helped the classy look of the place. Lighting was very nice with high ceilings, and sound quality was clear and sharp too. It was a memorable experience.
