Our passion is to provide natural and wholesome creations for people to indulge in. Not only is everything in our lineup totally GLUTEN FREE; we offer dairy free, vegan, refined sugar free, egg free, nut free and soy free options. Our mission is to bake nutritious allergy friendly desserts and treats with the most natural (non-gmo) and clean ingredients possible to ensure each item is healthful and affordable, without compromising any flavor.
Here at Happy Bellies, we are 100% gluten free! We track all of our ingredients to ensure they are processed in a gluten free facility. We always buy the purest, most natural/organic/clean ingredients - all others are simply not welcomed in our bakery! A GMO is a genetically modified organism (also called "genetically engineered"): a plant, animal, or microorganism that is created by means that overcome natural boundaries.
Come visit our all natural, gluten free bakery in Appleton on Richmond Street! If you are coming from Oshkosh, Green Bay or farther we are conveniently located off Highway 41. Our case is packed full during our open hours so orders are not necessary (unless you want a special cake or something specific).

I've only ever gotten their donuts, but they are very good. They are very dense, so keep that in mind you probably won't need to eat as many as donuts from say, Dunkin'. The staff has always been very helpful as we try to select donuts and check out. They have tables to eat there, and a cooler with some cold drinks to purchase to have with your donuts. My mother-in-law ordered a cake from Happy Bellies to celebrate some family birthdays. It was absolutely delicious, and gorgeous to boot! The cake itself was moist and flavorful, and the frosting was delicious as well. Next time we visit Appleton, my husband and I will definitely be in for coffee and baked goods!

Lovely bakery with a surprisingly large square footage. Everything is gluten-free, hence the happy bellies!
From what I tried, most items had that "It's GF? You can tell" taste to them. The chocolate chip cookie was a little grainy. The donut and vanilla cupcake were very dense. Only the raw pumpkin cheesecake and the fudge cupcake had less of the obvious GF traces in taste. Still, such a cool spot and lots of vegan options. If in the area again, I'd try them again.

This is the best gluten free bakery I’ve ever eaten at. I’ve been GF for almost 10 years and have tried many places. Happy Bellies tops them all!! Even people who eat gluten enjoy their baked goodies! I live hours away but make special trips or have friends who happen to be traveling though pickup and order for me!! I wish they delivered or were closer!!

Stopped in and bought a bunch of goodies to try. My husband was excited to try the blue moon donut but was disappointed that it didn't really taste like blue moon, more like fruity pebbles. I on the other hand was pleasantly surprised with it and should have bought more than 1... has a Kellogg's fruit loops vibe. All cupcakes were good! no complaints.

Can you say YUM! My husband and I both have food allergies and had never heard of happy bellies until researching places for our wedding. The Happy Bellies staff did a fantastic job walking us through all their selections and we fell in love at the taste test. They had phenomenal service, did a beautiful job on our cake – both with how it looked as well as how it tasted. We now are big Happy Bellies fans and make sure to share it with everyone – especially those with food allergies.

Great place for those with dietary sensitivities/allergies. Best cake donuts. Parking lot is limited and encourage watching where walking as there are a lot of wholes and depressions in concrete. So many options. Friendly staff. Plus bulk buying options. Very clean and we'll kept with plenty of seating options if you want a bite in shop. Highly recommend.

My wife is celiac and this is our favorite spot for a snack or Kaffee-Trinken, dispute it being a 35 minute drive! She loves the place and has NEVER had a negative reaction! Even my non-celiac, “picky” eating pallet LOVES THE FLAVORS AND TEXTURES HERE (… and my usual belief is that “gluten-free” is actually the Latin term for “no taste!”…). Recently expanded in this building; adding a warm, well lit, dining area separate from the inviting retail space.

Safe to say Happy Bellies is one of the most popular bakeries in Appleton! So many options for those with food allergies, they have all sorts of dairy, gluten, nut and egg free options! They have a large variety of desserts, although we typically just get cupcakes. You're sure to find something to please everyone.

Amazing local bakery! My new favorite in the Fox Valley! I am not someone that usually selects gluten free or vegan baked goods but I was so impressed by the cupcakes at this place! They are phenomenal! I love the unique flavors and they are beautifully decorated. Super friendly staff. All around amazing & delicious options and nice to bring to events so everyone can enjoy them since they are all GF and often vegan!

If you ONLY need gluten-free, this is a wonderful option since it is a dedicated gluten-free bakery and their baked goods are incredibly delicious.
If you need to exclude other allergens, as well, BEWARE! While they have made efforts to have dairy-free, egg-free, nut-free options available, they were not diligent in helping us select items that were egg-free on a recent visit and my daughter got TERRIBLY sick.
We walked in and clearly indicated we needed egg-free and nut-free items. The person helping us said all the blue and yellow tagged items were safe. Despite this, as an extra precaution

This bakery is fine, although not the best cupcakes I have ever had in my life, nor the best cupcakes in Appleton. This bakery has a large variety of dessert foods, whether it be cinnamon rolls, different kinds of bars, cookies, donuts or cupcakes, they can all be found here. Personally, I tried the cupcakes and they were not as good as anticipated. I read the reviews and I decided this might be the best place to get cupcakes, and turns out it wasn't. I've been living a mostly paleo, mostly gluten-free lifestyle since about 2009, so I was beyond thrilled to spot this place. Today's purchases: almond flour scones with raspberries and a zucchini almond flour brownie. The scones were very soft, not quite as much texture as a traditional wheat-flour scone. However they were delicious and not over-sweet which made me very happy. The brownie. . . aaahhhhhhhhh. It pretty much just tasted exactly how a brownie is supposed to taste and made me even more happy. It was very very rich, so I ate only a slice of it.

I've been to multiple gf bakeries (portland, milwaukee, chicago, etc) and Happy Bellies is my favorite.
When you think of a traditional cookie, muffin, treat, etc - Happy Bellies makes gf and vegan sweets taste better than gluten varieties. Akin to mom's cookies, rather then attempting to come off as overly gourmet, paleo, or in line with a trend - this place just has awesome treats.
If you did want a paleo or "healthy" vegan/gf bakery - Blooming Lotus Bakery in Milwaukee is very good and refreshingly affordable. I do like their bakery very much - but Happy Bellies is my favorite

Ohhhh the money I could spend and the weight I could gain coming here. This is a gluten-free bakery that uses locally-sourced ingredients.
I had never had a gluten free option before and was leery when a friend brought us cupcakes from Happy Bellies.
Oh me of little faith.
After that first cupcake, I stopped in a few mornings later and bought a slice of cinnamon roll cake. AND MY FACE ALMOST MELTED FROM THE GOODNESS! I went in the next morning for another slice and then forced myself into restraint.
I learned the hard way was that this shop is closed on Mondays. My birthday was on a monday

I have recently discovered that gluten irritates my digestive system. My other problem is, I have a sweet tooth a mile long. What to do!?! Where will I find tasty treats that won't hurt my tummy!???
