Bayside Discovery Center provides Preschool, VPK and Before and After Child Care in Palm Bay, FL within a loving environment to each and every child who walks through our door. Learning by doing is our philosophy! We try to give every student the choice to get engaged with the learning process, and then encourage them to learn by themselves.
We provide experiences in library, music, cooking, gardening, dramatics, art, science, Spanish, sign language and field trips (VPK and after-school programs). Every detail, from our literature-based curriculum to the layout of our three playgrounds, is designed to aid in number and reading readiness as well as help with the development of fine and gross motor skills, not to mention fun!

Services
Meaningful experiences are the most effective foundation for reading. By giving your little one pleasant experience by doing, we provide a strong base for future reading. Each child will be read to daily, in each of the mornings and afternoons. This is often made even more exciting with the use of flannel board stories, finger plays or big books.
All parents know that their child needs to develop good social skills in order to have meaningful interactions with others. However, it may surprise you to learn that according to a study by the American Journal of Public Health, a child begins developing social skills in kindergarten that will continue to help them succeed even on into adulthood.
Bayside Discovery Center has programs for toddlers, ages 12 months, through the sixth grade. We are a certified VPK PROVIDER. We would love to have your family swing by for a tour of our school. Bayside Discovery Center offers classes for numerous ages.
For our youngest classes, we have rooms with custom-sized tables, chairs and not to mention potties, giving our students a feeling of security while promoting their growing independence on the right-sized scale.Regarding the older classes, including VPK, we have more substantial classrooms that help our students to prepare for their years to come in school.

We pride ourselves on being one of the best Preschools in South Brevard County. Bayside Discovery Center boasts a "homegrown" thematic and literature-based curriculum for all of our classes, 12 months-5 years of age. Our staff and curriculum coordinator work together to generate a rich experience on a weekly basis for your child.
VPK is a great strategy to help get your child for kindergarten. We take pride in providing developmentally appropriate environments and activities for all of our students, and along with the socialization that preschool provides for young children. We never underestimate the value of kindergarten preparedness for our particular "graduates."

Our son has been going here for a little over 2 years and I can't say enough great things about Bayside Discovery Center. This is the absolute best place to send your children. The staff and administration are fantastic. The facility is gorgeous. Our son loves it so much, he always asks to stay longer! We feel at ease sending our kids here, knowing that they are in a safe and loving environment. We are so happy we found this school!

Palm Bay's best Preschool!!!! When I was looking for the a VPK program in Palm Bay, I did a lot of research (I'm a very protective Momma!!!!). Bayside won me over by their friendly staff who seem to really love what they do. I could not have been more comfortable leaving my precious little girl with them. I would recommend them to all of my friends!!!
