In 1984, I was a young mother of two when I realized I needed more flexibility in my profession to meet the needs of my daughters. I knew I wanted to work with older adults, so I started by providing housekeeping. Once I completed my C.N.A. Certification, I began escorting my clients to the doctor, assisting them with personal care, and acting as an advocate on their behalf.
When you or a loved one is in need of home care in the west valley & Sun City area, we understand the importance of finding qualified, caring professionals you can depend on. As a non-medical in-home care provider, our focus is on what is referred to as the Activities of Daily Living. These are the everyday tasks that can drain your energy and desire to get out and live.
When my sister recommended I get help in the home for my husband, I was resistant. There were already so many people coming in and out and I didn't want to cause him any more discomfort. It was with genuine regret that I told my caregiver I wouldn't be needing any further help. I am feeling so good again after a year of poor health.
Must have a minimum of two (2) years of verifiable hands on geriatric care experience for someone other than a family member. Must have current CPR and First Aid certification. Must have a negative TB test from within the last twelve (12) months. Must have a current drivers license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance.

I have to tell you how disappointed I am with this company. Stephanie came to our home yesterday with all the right words of what the company could do for the assistance we needed for our 91 year old father who lives with us. They were given the specific days and times we were looking for and we were told it wasn't a problem. We called her back within an hour and told her we would like to proceed. Today we were informed that they had scheduling problems and they could not meet our needs. They didn't even offer other days or times as an option until we asked. Even at that they weren&apos

When my elderly Dad who lived alone need help with his day to day activities I found Care from the Heart. The lady they sent out was a Godsend to Dad for 1-1/2 years until he recently went into Assisted Living. She helped him in so many ways as well as becoming his best friend. Our family is so grateful to Care from the Heart for their outstanding employee who made a difference in Dad's life and put our minds at easing knowing he was well taken care of in his own home. My father had been battling cancer for the last year. Recently his health started declining to the point we needed to bring in professional in home care around the clock. I can't say enough about Care from the Heart. Starting with the staff that runs the place and meets with you, Chris and Stephanie, all the way to their caregivers Sandy, Wendy, and Becky. We have been using Care From The Heart for about 6 months as of March, 2014 to have a lady caregiver come in twice a week to help our 95 year old parents with bathing and general assistance around their house. We have found the folks at Care From The Heart to be helpful to us in understanding what their services provide and in all their communications. They have been very flexible in providing good people for our parents changing needs schedule.
