I have been a patient of Dr. Laing's for about 8-9 years now. I started going there from recommendation from a derm salesman who knows all the derm doctors in the region. Her reputation as one of the Top Dermatologists stands true in my experience. She is extremely thorough in her exams, explains exactly what she is doing and looking for and is professional in her demeanor. The couple times I've had some suspect spots, they were removed quickly, painlessly and healed quickly. I also have worked with Dr. Dimick and she is equally as capable. It may take awhile to schedule your first thorough exam

I *was* a patient at Laing & Dimick. But I just called to schedule a skin check and was informed that they are scheduling skin checks in September 2020 (it is currently JULY 2019). When, in disbelief, I said "You realize that is more than a year away the receptionist said "Yes, I'm well aware of that." I said "so really you're just not doing skin checks anymore" and the reply was "that's right". Time to find a new dermatologist!

I have an issue with my vein in my leg that causes a skin condition. When I saw Dr. Laing her first comment to me was that she could refer me to a surgeon for bariatric surgery (large ladies beware), continuing down that line she recommended I see a dietitian and offered me an app to a calorie counter for my phone. She proceded to question me as if I was a drug addict (my medical record shows that I was procribed hydrocondone after a surgery, which by the way, I never took). None of this addressed my skin issue, as she was leaving the room I asked if I should continue with a cortisone treatment

I have been a patient of Dr. Laing for several years and have had a great experience each and every time I visit. She is knowledgeable, professional and able to communicate your medical diagnosis and treatment options in a clear and concise way. She presents the choices for treatment and discusses the pros and cons of each so that you are part of the decision making process. Dr.Laing always has a smile on her face when she walks in and makes you feel comfortable in what can be a stressful experience. You can tell she loves her job and cares about her patients. The health of her patients is her

I have gone to Dr. Laing for many years. She is kind, professional, and very good at catching problem areas on my skin. She has removed several "suspicious" moles, and I feel much safer with her checking them. Recently, she caught and removed a problem spot that I didn't even realize was a risk. I have also found her staff to be very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend her practice to anyone with concerns about their skin.

The staff is warm and helpful. I find both doctors professional and informed.
They both have two different "patient styles". Dr. Laing is smiley, friendly, 'practiced' and rushed. One gets the feeling that she is eager to get you out the door and on to her next patient.
Dr. Dimick is patient, interested, a good listener and warm. Of the two, she is definitely more "patient oriented".
I would highly recommend this practice.
