The brief descriptions below are designed to familiarize you with our Doctors' training, professional credentials and work experience. Dr. Samuel Ham has been a resident of Virginia since 1970. He graduated from Fairfax High School in 1983. Afterwards, he attended the University of Virginia for his undergraduate studies finishing with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 1987.
Implants are synthetic structures that are placed in the area of the tooth normally occupied by the root. Implants are anchored to the jawbone or metal framework on the bone and act as a foundation for an artificial tooth or permanent bridge. In some cases, implants can be used to attach dentures. Veneers are thin pieces of porcelain or plastic cemented over the front of your teeth to change their color or shape.

Jamila has received her RDH license from Northern Virginia medical school in 2012 and is the recipient of Hu Friedy Golden Scaler Award. She had completed Bachelors of Science in Liberal Arts. Her professional goal is to deliver the best care to patients by providing a comfortable experience and putting patients at ease.

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Matthew Kim. He was very patient, friendly, and helpful. He took his time to explain what was going on with my teeth and made sure to explain what he will be doing. I rate my experience 10/10. One of the most positive experiences I had at the dentist. I was blessed to have recommended by a friend to go see him for a dental issue.

I had been a patient of Dr. Ham for 30 years and never had any issues or problems. Dr. Ham and his staff are all professionals, courteous, and always provides the highest service to everyone. My salute to my hygienist Gentry for her professionalism and always taking good care of me every time I see her for my cleaning and check up. Highly recommend Fairfax Dentistry to everyone.

Dr. MIkhail is the best! Went in with a tooth ache. Identified the tooth causing problems within minutes. Prescribed antibiotics until I can get in next week for a root canal, unfortunately. They are a very caring practice. All the staff are wonderful. My family and I have been going there for years. Highly recommend!

Today I visited Fairfax Dentistry after having been in extreme discomfort and pain. Having had terrible experiences with dentist in the past or hit with unaffordable costs, many issues had gone unresolved. I was referred to Dr. Kim after having heard rave reviews about his patience and GENTLENESS with his patients. I called and got Michelle at the front desk who was awesome. Her customer service was great especially considering that I believe that customer service today has really gone down hill. She immediately told me about their savings plan( was she reading my mind or what?) which was exactly

Dr. Mikhail did such a fantastic job, I can’t rave about him enough. I’ve had a capped/bonded front tooth for 16 yrs. It was becoming obvious it needed to be redone. Dr. Mikhail talked to me about having it redone on several occasions and finally I decided to do it. I’m blown away at the results! He matched the color of my other teeth perfectly, made it look natural, shaped it perfectly. I should have done it a long time ago! Gentry and Jamila, hygienists, are also amazing. Everyone in the office is incredible.
