Can’t say enough about Alpha Environmental! Their costumer service is 10/10, they have really good systems in place, responsive, and professional. The gals in the scheduling department are always so kind! As a real estate agent, I use Alpha’s services numerous times a year. I realize the Director of Operation's response to my negative review is a form letter, but it completely, perfectly, and hilariously, encapsulates my entire experience with Alpha Environmental Services and their stunningly horrible communication practices.

We used Alpha for asbestos removal in our bathroom. Our contractor couldn't find a company to do our "small job" and left us hanging saying he was working on it but no one was available in the area. So I checked out companies and found Alpha. There were responsive, professional, and easy to communicate with. They were a bit scheduled out but due to a last minute cancellation, they were able to do our job literally the next day! Hired AES to decommission my 1951 heating oil tank. Excellent experience from start to finish. Initial consultation was scheduled quickly, and work began very soon thereafter. All pricing was agreed upon upfront before any work began and there were no unexpected surprises! Final cost ended up being less than originally agreed to due to some tests not being required. I have some pretty elaborate landscaping, so I was nervous it would be ravaged, but the job site was kept clean and safe at all times, and my backyard was returned to its original condition. My realtor recommended Alpha for the testing of popcorn ceiling on a house I was buying and drove my sample to their office.
They were extremely kind and helpful.
The testing came back with asbestos. They gave me an estimate to remove the popcorn ceiling and I schedule the service. Dame and Ally were very helpful and accommodating with all my concerns and questions.
I also needed to have the ceiling textured and painted and received another bid from a different company.
Matt Micheletty came out to assess the job and thought it would be more convenient and time efficient to have them do everything

I live in Silverton and was pleased to find out that Alpha has an office in Stayton so they service the mid-Willamette Valley. In searching for radon mitigation companies, I received a competitive online bid without site visit from Alpha and called to initiate the agreement and work. Communication, site visit, scheduling, and the installation was a snap with Zachary, the Salem Branch Manager, who was personally involved with the work. This included a specific installation through central conduit for my HVAC and not involving additional piping through an exterior wall and up the side of the house

Our realtor recently contacted Alpha Environmental to do a mold remediation inspection under our dishwasher based on a previous home inspection by our buyer (we are the seller). Chris Pinheiro with Alpha Environmental was instructed to remove the dishwasher to determine the cause and how extensive the mold issue was in our kitchen. He then wrote us a bid for over $1700 to remediate the mold. He even suggested the kitchen cabinets should be removed as well, potentially driving the cost even higher for a handyman. Three different appointments missed. Supposedly a technician came out while my wife was home and found nothing but my wife never saw him even though the front door was open. Next day a guy came out unannounced and gave me an obvious lie about how he was asked to come out and recheck. It was clear that he checked city records and saw a tank on the property and then decided he should really do the scan instead of lie about it to the buyer.

Alpha Environmental was requested to perform a sewer scope on a house we are buying in the Raleigh Hills area. The homeowner led Carlos, the technician, to what she thought was the sewer line but she mentioned she wasn't certain. He asked her to run water in the house and then he began the sewer scope. After the scope was complete, he quoted over $8,000 in repairs due to root protrusions, offsets, and pooling. I have been very disappointed in Alpha. We sold our House and the buyer used Alpha for our sewer inspection. They did not know where our clean out was, so without our permission the technician got on top of our roof not knowing that we have a metal roof which dents very easily. They failed our sewer line saying that we had root intrusion, two obstructions and deteriorating pipes. They of course bid the repair for more than $10k. I had another sewer company come out and re-scope and their findings were we had no root intrusion, no obstructions, and only average deterioration with the pipes still

I was desperate for a plumber on Saturday afternoon due to a major plumbing issue from my main line. I called 25-30 plumbers (most who advertise on their websites that they offer 24/7 emergency service), and got voice mail for all of them. I left messages and no call backs. Great experience working with Alpha to assess my homes' air quality and the possibility of radon. The radon test showed levels over 3 times the maximum level considered unhealthy. I had Alpha install a radon mitigation system and it has dropped the radon level well into the safe zone. Communication from the Alpha staff was fantastic, techs were always on time, work was good quality, and everyone I interacted with were friendly and professional. I can't recommend them higher.

Alpha decommissioned my HOT in April of 2018. They answered any question I had about the service and were up front with what the costs could be with the decommissioning process. They scheduled the work very quickly and once the work was completed I could barely tell they had disturbed any ground. Very professional throughout the whole process.

We were given accurate dates and hopeful dates. The workers all showed up on time and did the job in a very timely manner. We had to connect to the city sewer line and bury our old septic tank. The workers came in on a Monday and by the end of the week, we had working sewer by the end of the week.

However I was not given accurate information on the phone regarding the scope and cost of service.
I ordered a sewer scope and locate, assuming the basement lines would be fully located.
I was quoted a price of $100 for the job. I had to call them back to locate two basement branch lines. They could not trace one line, traced the other 15 foot line, and charged me an extra $50. I paid by credit card. The emailed statement showed a balance owed of $175 for a radon test that had not yet been performed.
