Two years ago we bought brand new bikes from them. They told us after a little while the bikes may need a quick tune up. I’ve tried the last two years to get that tune up and haven’t been able to get an appt. Today I called and asked when the first available time was for a tune up and The answer I got was a chuckle and he said September. Today is December 28, 2021 and they tell me September? Really? This is the customer service for purchasing two brand new bikes from them? I then called we cycle and they got us in while we waited for the bike. When I am ready to by another bike or an ebike

The best bike shop. They recently did tune ups on 2 of my bicycles. Both bicycles are riding great. My 20 year old Giant rides like it’s brand new. Great customer service. Great owners. I highly recommend them.

I love Island Bicycles. We rent from here every time we visit. They are friendly, helpful and have always taken care of us. We had a mix up this time with the bike delivery and they immediately fixed it and got us taken care of. Their customer service is great!

Ryan is an awesome tech, very knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. He tuned up my Specialized pedal-assist that my boyfriend bought for me at their shop a few months ago, and also fixed an issue on his Reisse-Mueller. He didn’t even charge us for the work to the German bike, saying it was a fast fix. Ryan is a bike wizard for sure! Ask for him.

Fantastic experience renting cruisers. We did the 24 hour rental and because they were closed on Sundays we got extra time our rental because they let us return Sunday while they were closed. Great help in getting his fitted and provided helmets (if wanted) and blinking lights for the bikes.

Great experience on our weeklong rental from pick up to drop off. We had friends join us who also rented and they had an issue with a faulty lock. A phone call to this place got someone to us in 15 minutes where they corrected the issue in less than 5 minutes.

We travel to Key West every year and rent bikes every time but have not reviewed anyone till now. Did so this time because everyone was great even while wearing masks and social distancing.

Also, they use the combo locks as opposed to the key locks. Definitely the way to go when using your bike to travel the island for vacation.

We rented e-bikes, they were great! The employees we met were very nice, helpful, and they all wore masks.

I stopped in with a flat tire for replacement. Ryan had my bike fixed in minutes. It felt more like a pit stop it was over so quick. After a quick bite to eat I returned and had some new raised handlebars put on.Ryan tackled that job in minutes as well. It was a nice experience doing business with an operation like this one.

Great bike shop with excellent customer service. Stopped in to shop for a new seat and new pedals, thinking I would put them on. Got just what I wanted and installed while I waited, no charge. Prices were totally fair also. Great selection, great service, centrally located, great, knowledgable people. Best bike shop experience of my life.

While their service may be commendable, they do not have to price gauge locals. I was informed of the $75 fee just for looking at an e bike! Unfortunately I had no other choice than to use their service due to weather/ rain and my location ; total for a new inner tube, tire & labor: $130.00

Think long and hard before you choose this business. There are other choices.

I'm 5'1" and needed to rent a bike to fit my needs - especially since I haven't rode a bike in nearly 15 years. This place met my needs and more. A young Guatemalan man (forgot his name) helped find the perfect bike, was so patient and gave helpful advice. Easy rental and return - smiled nonstop biking around KW. Highly recommend! Thank you for making my first visit to KW magical.

I rented bikes here when we first started coming to KW ten years ago. A few years later I bought a bike there and today had it serviced. New derailer and brake pads. Their rental, sales and service has consistently been top shelf. They always over deliver vs over promise and prices are fair. I highly recommend this shop to all friends and family who come down to KW.

During my long drive down to KW, my bike fell off the bike rack on the back of my car and the seat was lost in the mayhem. I brought the bike into Island Bike shop for repair and full well expected to drop it off and not see it for days. Much to my surprise and delight, Dave took care of it on the spot. He had it all put back together and I was out riding within the hour. Friendly, understanding and fairly priced, what more can I say? I recommend this shop without reservation. Thank you Dave!

Absolute best bike rental in key west! Owner is very helpful and laid back. We rented 2 beach cruisers for the week and it was very inexpensive. Biking around key west is the only way to go.

Excellent customer service and competitive prices! Selvin helped us rent bikes, and he was so patient and helpful. We didn't have a single problem with our bikes during our trip. Renting and returning were quick and easy! We will use them again!

I was in Key West last week and I brought my electric bike so I could get around easy without parking. Unfortunately I drove over something that popped by a tire. Changing a rear tire on an electric bike is a bit of a project, so I googled Island Bicycles and saw the reviews. This place was great. They had the job done in half the time they promised and at a fantastic price. I strongly recommend this shop, especially if you are from out of town and are in a pinch.

Great shop, well kept bikes and awesome service. Mechanics know what they are doing and are super helpful. Dave the owner is very knowledgeable and treated every guest(including myself) like family! Will definitely return and recommend to my friends and family!

The real deal in Key West. Plenty of fairly priced rentals, including beach cruisers and real road bikes. More importantly, they can deliver complex repair on-the-fly. Dave and his team are great folks, just the kind of place where you feel like your money was well-spent.

Definitely a better option than most other rental companies on the island. This is a real bicycle shop with employees that ride bikes and care about the cycling community. The condition of their bicycles shows in a positive way. I'm an avid cyclists who logs thousands of miles back home and would return here to rent without question. Beach cruiser rentals were some of the best prices on the island. And even though they are not open on Sundays, you can still drop off on Sundays. Locks and lights are included.

The owner is a nice, real dude.
We were in 2 vehicles, one of them a truck full of bicycles in the back. But even so, we were 2 short. So we parked here to rent the two more bikes we needed for our large party. And then I asked if it was OK that we park here since we plan to bike around the island. Dude said no problem. We said that one of our vehicles was a monster of a truck, and we wanted to give him like, $10 tip, for letting us park it here. I mean, we were only renting two bikes we had Flippin brought our own. Guy said it was bad luck to tip the owner and to enjoy ourselves and buy some booze

We let the kids do the research and found this place. We pre-reserved 4 bikes and the shops had the bikes ready when we ft there. I didn't get the ladies name that was helping us but she was very kind and knowledgeable. She started adjusting the bike seats before we could have even though about it.

The prices are fair and the shop is in a great location to walk around.

Very fair prices and good no nonsense service. Just a bit of a walk from the cruise terminal, but worth it. We called ahead and our bikes were waiting with name on a tag.

They provide everything needed, just show up in bike worthy clothes!

We are part time locals and just purchased our fourth adult tricycle. This is our first purchased from Island Bicycles and I couldn't be happier. They communicate clearly, communicate through email, and are more than happy to accommodate special requests like having the bike painted by local artist Lady Outrageous.

Great service! Woman at the front desk was so helpful in tips on where to go in town on bikes. Cruisers are comfortable one speed bikes, but in flat KW you don't need anything else. Helmets, lights and locks are included as well as any needed repairs. Best price we could find in the area for a week rental. we are not disappointed at all.
