Located in Franklinton, LA on LA Hwy 25, Thor fabrication has 4 acres of limestone covered yard.

Acme Machine & Welding has been in business since 1985, serving south Louisiana and Mississippi regions. Our machine and fabrication facility is located in St. Tammany Industrial Park in Covington, Louisiana. Our dependable service and quality workmanship has made us a leader in the machining industry.
Machining crane pedestals up to 96" in diameter with bolt hole patterns, holes up to 2", up to a height of 108". Our CNC Horizontal Boring Mill with 5 axis, 360 degrees rotation and table load up to 10 tons, we can do your heavy machining. We have 3 smaller CNC mills ranging in size. Got small things like pumps, small gear boxes, base plates, we can handle both large and small parts.
From small gearboxes and pumps to large crane pedestals and booms. Our fabrication division can handle it all. We have weld procedures for most weld able materials. We also do inconel overlay and other exotic welding jobs. Along with specific customers specs, Our fabrication division works with all major third party inspection companies including ABS, DNV, CCS, and Lloyd's Register.
