In a small restaurant on Chicago's Historic South Side back in 1974,t he first Stuffed Pizza was served. It all started with a unique recipe. Not long afterward, stuffed spinachand stuff zucchini pizzas were created and stunned the pizza world. We knew our pizza was sensational and three years later, in 1977, Chicago Magazine proclaimed our pizza is the best in the city.

Came here on a Friday with a big group of friends and this place.... they were out of beers. eggplants and few other things. Which worried me deeply about this place...I was so scared.... but then the food came... and they totally redeemed them selfs. it was amazing! Or service was great! but enough about us.. our server was awesome as well.

Service was lacking, we called in to place an order. We three times and ended up driving to place a simple order. So when we got there, there was hardly anyone in the dining area, and they told us they were so busy! It was a crock of BS! Then our pizza took over 45 minutes. Thankfully it tasted good...

What we have here is a bit of everything going clockwise... eggplant demonico 10/10... Chicago style deep pizza without saying 10/10... Italian beef my son said 6/10 too many bell peppers he said...I had the chicken marsala 10/10 sweet, full of garlic savory wine so delicious! And last but definitely not least meat ravioli in marinara 10/10! To me that was the star of the show. I don't go to this place enough will definitely be back a lot more often this year good job pasta House! Staff 10/10 everything came orderly on time they even brought out something for our kid before all of us got to eat

I’ve been here twice now. First time was great. Got their stuffed pizza and a wine margarita. Definitely recommend both of those.
The second time though, I sat for about 10 minutes before anyone even asked for our drinks (they sat us and handed us menus so I know it wasn’t our fault). We also waited a while for the rest of our food. I got my stuffed shells 10-15 minutes after my friend got his lasagna… I feel like our waiter was having an off day… the more classic options we got this time were pretty good but I think I’ll go back to the pizza 😋

Not much has changed since my last review....the food is a little better now but pasta tasted watery and it appears there was not enough salt in the water they were boiled in. We also had the stuffed mushrooms which were amazing. In my opinion Bruschetta was horrible. I would skip that apetizer. The bread were also not that great. Portions have gotten bigger since last time I was here which may be a plus for some guests. Lasagne was really good though. Pasta in lasagne was a bit too soft. Other than that it tasted really good. Service was really good this time. Water was amazing. Once again, food
