Pretty popular dine in restaurant. Customer service started off good but we were seated and forgotten about. One waitress did not say a word to us or asked if we needed anything, knowing our waitress was busy. She walked past us with a water pitcher and didnt even offer us a drop pf water for refills.
Menu's state menudo and pozole included but waitress said that's not true any more.
Porkchops was my item of choice till the waitress returned 15 mins later saying there was none.
After eating waited for waitress to bring check which she never did. I got her attention for it so i can pay and leave

This is the best Mexican restaurant I've been to in California! I always make sure to stop when I'm in the area. Their service is top-notch (everyone is sooo friendly), the atmosphere is nice (I think they draw in some of the best people), and their food is incredible. I'm also obsessed with their horchata! Idk if they make it themselves but it's seriously so good.

Today we found another GEM in Yucaipa!
La Mexicana Restaurant on Yucaipa Blvd. This place has been here for over 20 years serving great Mexican food and I can’t believe I never ate here before. Their menu is filled with so many choices and yet, I still go to my favorite dish a wet Chile Verde Burrito with Beans and Cheese and it had the perfect amount of heat and was so delicious overall. Need a great Mexican food fix?

OMG! This place is fabulous! The chilaquiles are to die for! The beans taste just like homemade! The coffee tastes pretty good. The wait was short even though it was packed. The waitresses are wonderful! Awesome service! They asked us frequently if everything was OK and if we needed anything. The bar is pretty cute.
I can hardly wait to go back(I live 55 miles away) to taste the menudo which my friend that recommended me the chilaquiles told me that it's the best menudo in the whole region!

The food was mediocre at best, the server was polite , however being new, she made a simple mistake on my friends order. Instead of correcting the order they tried to add sauce to make it similar to what my friend originally ordered. Knowing this, we told them serval times that what they brought wasn't what we ordered. At this point the owner approaches, and instead of being polite and understanding of the fact that HER server made a mistake, she was rude and her tone of voice was aggressive and confrontational. Thus making us, and my friend, very uncomfortable. Needless to say this establishment

This place just reopened.
I was shocked at how busy it was, it is a very popular spot. I had never heard of it until 2 days ago, when my neighbor told me about it reopening, and he described it as one of his favorite Mexican restaurants.
Service was very good, the food was good (the fresh homemade tortillas were EXCELLENT). We had the #1, cheese enchilada, chile relleno, and shredded beef taco, with beans and rice.
Looking forward to the next time.

I started coming to this restaurant when I was working, and loved the food and friendly owners. Now over 20 years later, I still think they have the BEST Salsa Fresca in town and in the area.
Fresh tomatoes, onions, jalapenios, avacado with just the right 'spice'.
I eat it with chips and its a meal for under $10 and all vegtables.
The only problem is, I want it on Monday too, after a long weekend. But alas, Tuesday is coming!

There food and drinks are amazing! We love their chili verde burrito, carnitas street tacos, molcajete, mixed ceviche, pozole, menudo, flour tortillas, bistec picado and meat with cactus. We haven't tried everything yet but what we have so far is delicious!! They also serve delicious mimosas and jalapeño margaritas. If you go, be sure to ask for Monica. She's our favorite waitress, quick and very attentive.

Came here for all the good reviews during lunch today. It was just the wife and I today, we sat we had chips n salsa which seemed like it was out of a can. Then we waited 15 minutes and no one came back to take our order, but two other tables came after us and they got their order taken sooo not sure what happened so we left. We will not be back especially after the canned salsa. Went down to Mr. Taco in Redlands and the food is awesome. Good luck here!

This place is the best Mexican restaurant in Yucaipa! The servers are friendly and the food is so delicious! The micheladas and Mexican mule drinks were also tasty! Highly recommend this place. The molcajete will fill you up! Lots of shrimp, asada, chicken , nopales and so much more. The servers name was Monique or Monica. I couldn't hear with the mask. Thank you guys!!

Found this restaurant during quantnatine. The owner was posting daily on FB, had daily specials and drinks to go. There was always positive comments and locals seems to love them, I had to try it! I wasn't disappointed!
I've tried several different plates and loved them all. The tortillas are homemade and delicious!
This is a little hole in the wall place BUT don't let that fool you!

Enjoyed an Old Town San Diego style Mexican breakfast with family. I craved an Old Town San Diego breakfast that I had two weekends ago. Simply authentic and homemade fare and no one San Bernardino/Riverside metro areas sufficed. I looked all over Yelp! and nothing seemed open for dine in while being COVID-19 compliant or high quality. La Mexicana Restaurant is the spot! We will be back.

We had lunch here on Sunday. Restaurant is busy with indoor and outdoor seating. We ordered many dishes (see pic) and all the dishes were tasty & delicious. The handmade flour tortillas were so fresh & tasty, best tortilla bar none. Buritto was very good & huge! Meat with Cactus was unique & excellent. Remember to check in (Yelp) to get free chicken nachos. Service was very good and we had an excellent dining experience!

Never had a bad experience at this place. The staff is friendly and the food is amazing. Love how they make the tortillas from scratch and they are so fresh. I think that makes a huge difference when making Mexican food. The food here is big portion size compared to the price and is filling. Today because of the Covid 19 stuff I had to order to go and it is still amazing food and fresh . This is the best Mexican food place in Yucaipa by far. I ordered the chili verde burrito wet style with 3 toasted jalapeños on the side .
