Services
Thank you to our board members who generously volunteer their time to support the mission of UFDA. Brad Rawlins Walker is the oldest son of Allyn and Marsha Walker. He lived in the mortuary most of his life and learned the value of service and hard work from his father, Allyn, and his grandfather, Lynn, at a young age.
You would make a good candidate to serve on the Utah Funeral Directors Association (UFDA) Board. The UFDA Board of Directors is a volunteer board of 11 funeral directors from throughout the state and members from adjoining states. The Executive Board is comprised of the President, President-Elect, Vice President, Secretary/Treasurer, and Immediate Past President.
Each year the UFDA board selects up-and-coming promising funeral professionals to receive the Rookie Recognition award. We are always looking for nominations from funeral home owners/managers, co-workers and others who notice new funeral professionals going above and beyond to make a difference in the profession.
Each year the UFDA board selects retired or near retirement funeral professionals to receive the Lifetime Service Recognition award. We are always looking for nominations from members to recognize funeral professionals who have dedicated their career to improving the profession and providing exceptional service to the community.
With a united commitment to the highest ethical standards, our members strive for excellence in serving Utah families. The Utah Funeral Directors Association is an extension of our members' staff and represents and supports the majority of funeral homes within the state of Utah.
Our members and the funeral professionals that work for them are also members of the National Funeral Directors Association, the largest funeral association in the world, and enjoy the benefits of belonging to these professional associations.
