Extended daycare available Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. all year long. Lisa began teaching preschoolers in 1992. She's been an employee for the current owner since 1995 and became the Director of Alamo Country School in 1999. Lisa also teaches the Junior-K/TK class. Ms. Amala - Assistant Director and the Pre-K teacher: Amala has been a head teacher at Alamo Country School since 2013.
Our two children spent over four years under the guidance, tutelage and support of this wonderful school. The sincere caring/nurturing attitude is overseen by the Director, Lisa Page, and reinforced by the entire staff. My wife and I would like to express our gratitude for those years that they have cared for our two children and we strongly recommend Alamo Country School to any parent looking for such a school.
This program meets the needs of advanced four-year olds as well as five and six year olds. This program offers a strong academic curriculum emphasizing a "back to basics" approach that establishes an excellent foundation for learning, reading, writing, and arithmetic. Continued social development is the objective of this program.
Our morning Junior K Program include circle time, academic work time, language arts, mathematics, learning centers, music, storytelling time, and outdoor play. ACS is a YEAR 'ROUND school, and does include a Summer Enrichment Program where your child will be participating in workshops and events on site. We have weekly science and environmental themes that are posted on the summer calendar. In addition to our daily structured activities we offer integrated weekly academic themes.
