We are a Christian based preschool located in Bechtelsville, Pennsylvania. The mission of Shepherd of the Hills Christian Preschool is to work in partnership with family to foster the development of each child entrusted to us.

Services
Started in 1986, Providence Christian Nursery School was founded as a ministry under the non profit organization, Providence Ministries, Inc. The non profit was established by Ronald and Barbara Christman. The Christman's operated the preschool for 22 years, twenty of which we were located at Shepherd of the Hills Church in Bechtelsville Pennsylvania.
Charles holds a Bachelor's degree in Christian ministry and has an extensive history with youth. Charles grew up in an Air Force home and was raised in a home dedicated to serving others, an experience that positions him well to care for the needs of the church. Abby Feverston is the teacher of our preschool and greatly enjoys teaching the kids about the love of Jesus and helping them learn the fundamentals of education.

However, in 2008, when Ron and Barb decided to step away from the school, the church wanted to keep the ministry active and the preschool became a ministry of Shepherd of the Hill Church.Peg Merkley was the lead person during this transition. During this time, she was on the board and was instrumental in interim.

All Programs run September through May. To secure a class assignment for your child, a $45 non-refundable registration fee is required, along with a completed registration form and proof of immunization. If you are a returning family, or are a member or Shepherd of the Hills Church, the registration fee is waived.

My second son is currently a student at Shepherd of the Hills. The decision to enroll him was automatic after the experience and education my older son received while in the same program. The staff could not be more caring and dedicated. They provide a very nurturing, yet structured environment that allows little ones to "mature" into kindergarten-ready children. I also love the personal feel of the program. The staff always makes my children feel special with lots of one-on-one attention. I know that my children have received/are receiving a solid foundation to their learning "career" and learning
