After graduating from Texas A&I University, Dr. Sylvia Culver attended The University of Texas Dental Branch at Houston where she earned her DDS degree. She has been practicing in Houston for over 25 years, and Dr. Culver has been serving the communities and families with exceptional dental care and customer service.
A comprehensive oral evaluation includes oral cancer screening, TMJ exam, periodontal evaluation, and digital x-rays. From these exams, we can build a treatment plan that is customized for your individual needs. We'll take our time and go over all your options, so you can make an informed decision for your perfect smile.
Dental veneers are thin shells, typically made using porcelain or composite resin, that are custom made to fit over teeth, providing a natural, attractive look. They can be used to fix chipped, stained, misaligned, worn down, uneven or abnormally spaced teeth. Composite bonding is a cosmetic technique wherein a composite resin is shaped and molded on your teeth to give the appearance of straighter, whiter smile.
Invisalign(R) offers an almost invisible aligning system that straightens teeth fast and contains no metal. Invisalign(R) treatment consists of a series of custom-made aligning trays. The dentist changes the trays every several weeks to fit the new tooth configuration. In addition to the reduced visual impact, Invisalign(R) aligning trays can be temporarily removed for important occasions - meaning that treatment duration is patient-controlled.
Dr. Culver and the team are committed to helping you make your dental care affordable by offering a variety of payment options, as well as making the most of your dental insurance benefits. We will research your dental benefits providing estimates based on your insurance companies' information. We accept all PPO dental insurance.

I was in so much pain and they were able to get me in quick. State of the art xray ability and found out exactly what was wrong. Gave me my options and they moved quick with the work. I have never experienced such great service and the technique was superb. I think I even fell asleep while getting a root canal. They have gained a patient for life! Thank you for taking care of me.

This is one of my favorite place to go to! Yup you read that right! I am honestly thrilled with their service, friendly staff and so calm. I lived in the woodlands for 6 years struggled to find a dentist that will meet my needs and for my kids too. We know we are a challenge to our dentist. Lol and Dr Culver with her staff go above and beyond my expectations.
Not only treating my messy teeth but trying to find cheapest solutions possible that can work with my budget. I just love everyone there and feel they all deserve good recognition for their hard work.

My parents hadn't taken me to the dentist much as a kid, so I had a lot of anxiety about going. As soon as I walked in, the staff made me feel more at ease--it really felt like everyone there was trying to do what was best for me. They paid close attention to what my insurance would cover and communicated everything they needed to do clearly and kindly. The work I had done here was great, and the environment they created made me feel like I was in good hands.

I was looking for a dentist in The Woodlands area close to work and this office came up in my search and I thought I would give it a try. I called on a Thursday to schedule a dental cleaning as a new pt and I was able to get an appointment that same day. Went in for appointment and was greeted immediately by friendly staff. I waited no more than 10… minutes when I was called back for xrays/cleaning. The RDH was amazing, friendly, thorough, explained every step, verified insurance coverage/coding before proceeding with procedure to double check. Marvelous experience. Then the dentist came

I love Dr. Culver and her staff. I was in a lot of pain because my back molar had chipped off all the way to the gum line because my previous dentist couldn't replace my temporary filling with a permanent one. Dr. Culver was able to see me that afternoon and removed what was left of the tooth. I was amazed at how quickly she did it. The staff was wonderful and made me feel welcome and comfortable. I have found my permanent dentist. Definite recommendation. I am returning for a routine exam and cleaning.

I was on the look out for a new dentist in The Woodlands after a horrible experience in another office. Dr. Culver and her staff were an absolute joy. I felt comfortable as soon as I walked through the door and continued to feel comfortable throughout the visit. My hygienist was thorough and walked me through every step she was taking to make sure I understood everything she was doing. I highly recommend if you are in the market for a new dentist. They were so great!!!!
