A: the used cooking oil goes through an extensive heating, settling, filtering process that separates out the water, solids, and other impurities until the clean oil is all that remains. These impurities are all recycled and help power a local wastewater treatment plant. The clean oil is used as a feedstock in the production of clean burning bio-diesel.
Coastal Byproducts is constantly striving to minimize our impact on the environment in our daily activities. We are fortunate to be a part of the communities we serve, and we feel an obligation to do what we can to keep these neighborhoods clean and green.

We are partnering with businesses to recycle their grease and used cooking oil, which might otherwise end up going down the drain, contributing to clogged sewer lines, into the trash, adding to our landfills, or being poured into vegetation, compromising the quality of groundwater.Coastal Byproducts provides an eco-friendly alternative of which businesses can be proud to be a part.
