Services
At Montgomery Foot Care Specialists, P.C., we believe that a doctor and patient become a team for treating an individual's feet. Our physicians spend most of their time listening to understand your concerns and responding with the best treatment options for you. With the help of our professional staff, they also follow up to make sure that general pain is relieved, problems are resolved and your health improves.
Our doctors are professionally trained and fully qualified to treat any condition relating to the foot. We offer a full array of podiatric services. At Montgomery Foot Care, we are going to exhaust all conservative treatment options that are available to prevent surgery. This includes: sprains/strains, arthritis, ligament/ tendon injuries, limited range of motion, neuroma, neuropathy, and plantar fasciitis.
If you have submitted a request online, our office will contact you with further instructions. You may also print out your paperwork online. Once you submit your request, a member of our staff will contact you as soon as possible to firm up your appointment time. Please do not submit any Protected Health Information (PHI).
My favorite thing about being a Podiatric Physician is that I can usually help people feel better the first time I see them. I love to see my patients smiling when their feet suddenly feel better. On the other hand, not all ailments can be relieved in one day. I love to see the hope and relief in a patient's eyes when I explain the road we are about to take together.
I am Chanda Day-Houts, DPM. I graduated from Des Moines University in 1999. I completed a residency program at the Central Alabama Veteran's Health Care System in 2000. I decided to become a podiatrist because my feet hurt (no really, they did!). I have a huge family (my Dad is one of 12 children) and all of us have ingrown toenails.

What a difference the orthotics Dr. Christie made for me have had on my life. I'd been unable to run or even stand for the long hours required of my volleyball officiating career due to plantar fasciitis. Her staff made the orthotics and now only a couple months I have no pain and able to run at my best pace in years. Highly recommend Dr. Christie and her team for your foot care needs.
