When things are confused and sped up, massage will snap you out of fatigue and fragmentation, helping you regain mental clarity, perspective and renewed optimism. Reflexology, also known as zone therapy, is an alternative medicine involving application of pressure to the feet with specific thumb, finger, and hand techniques without the use of oil or lotion.
It is based on a pseudoscientific system of zones and reflex areas that purportedly reflect an image of the body on the feet and hands, with the premise that such work effects a physical change to the body. Chair massage is typically short -- 15 or 30 mins and focuses on your back, shoulders and neck and arms.

My boyfriend and I went in yesterday for two 60 min. treatments that were good (not spa-quality by any means but good) and when we finished I gave the front desk cash for the tips, the woman there asked if the treatments were good and I said yes, and then she proceeded to point at the sign that says how much you should tip (which is over 20%). I tipped 20% for each treatment in cash but the receptionist pressured me to add an additional tip on Venmo so it came out to a little over 25% each which is far more than any other spa expects (and mind you, this is not a real spa). I was flustered so I

I called with the hopes of using my expired Groupon (for the purchase value) and was told by the staff I'd be charged a fee of $15 and an additional $20 for the expired coupon. When I explained that this is not the Groupon policy she reiterated that this is what her manager told her and would not budge. I will not use my Groupon nor will I ever consider doing business here.

Disclaimer: I can only speak on my experience with the weekly special for 49/hr which includes a head/face massage, feet/calves, arms/hand, and shoulders/back. A little bit of everything. I did not try any other service so I don't know what was offered in the others.
Upon arriving, you check in at the front. There are signs that says tip in cash only and a list of gratuity % ( see photos). You take off and leave your shoes up front in the waiting area. Oddly I wasn't asked to sign any waivers or questionnaires. Having been to many massage places, I thought it was odd I wasn't asked

Ask for LUCY, and thank me later. This is the best massage I've had in Boston. She just...knows where you need pressure. Super talented in her art!
If you need anything specific ie. harder on the head/neck, lighter on the lower back, tell the receptionist and she will translate accordingly.
COVID update: People wear a mask at all times, which isn't entirely uncomfortable once you get used to it. The pros of getting massaged by Lucy definitely outweigh the cons. They wear a mask at all times and spray your hands with sanitizer afterward.
Please be quiet in the waiting area! The walls

Best Chinese massage and reflexology spa that I have been at in the USA. Excellent therapists, as I need very strong pressure for it to be effective, and they can deliver.
Pleasant calming decor, nice waiting area, very clean and friendly staff. Prices are reasonable for the services rendered.
I never had a bad experience here, over the past 2 years.

I love a good foot massage but I got so much more. Thorough foot massage and back and leg massage as well. I like firm pressure and Linlin did a great job on my back and shoulders from way too many hours at my desk at home. They took all precautions, disposable slippers, spritz you with sanitizing spray, towel over your face and mask the entire time. I bought a package last year and it is well worth it. Most relaxing thing I have done in a while.

I have been a regular customer for a year and a half and I absolutely love it! I have been to spas all over the country traveling for work and this is definitely my favorite. My favorite massage therapist is Lucy. I get the foot massage often because I stand at work for 12 hours a day and she does such an awesome job. She’s accommodating to all my special needs like a pillow under my back and light pressure. I would definitely recommended this place and Lucy! Everyone is very professional and the lady that works the front counter is very friendly and kind. It’s always very clean and feels very

Maybe I caught them at the end of a long day but my massage felt rushed, and my therapist did not speak English at all.
Also beware that wearing a mask the entire time, it is hot, if lying on your stomach it is even hotter, and no one offered me water. I also couldn't smell the scent I chose for my feet soak, because of the mask.
I feel like they zoned into my certain pressure points, but I never once was asked why I was there. The pressure can sometimes be intense and my therapist did not take the hint when I tried to tell her to lighten up.
I feel there is potential but with a lot more

The location is great, easy to find decent parking around, cute deco. Prices are also decent. Main reasons for less than 5 stars:
1) you take off your shoes at the door - which is fine in it of itself, there is a seating area so you can do so easily but no slippers and other people's shoes are everywhere, it's not very organized so you step on other people's shoes.
Another point about being shoe-less, it means you use the restroom (located at the end of the massage area) barefoot which is *really* gross.
2) they don't mop the floors but spray something on it which makes

Positives:
+ relaxing environment / decor
+ relatively cheap base price ($49), no coupons needed
+ friendly masseuses - give water after treatment
+ can choose from a menu of herbs for foot massage (though you won't notice the difference)
+ masseuses do not skimp on pressure
Negatives:
+ two beds in each room, so you'll have a stranger beside you
+ masseuse asked me halfway through the hour-long massage whether I wanted to add more time for him to massage my whole body - this disrupted my relaxation and felt a bit stressful because it was hard to understand him and I wasn't expecting

The place was very clean and popular during the time I visited, I went here to try the weekly specials ($49 for 1 hour foot reflexology and Tui Na) - it was amazing! I definitely felt the difference after the treatment - would come back again.
It is best that you book the treatment in advance to secure the spot. They have both male and female therapists - state your preference when you book. They asked in advance regarding the level of pressure you prefer for the massage. I requested the medium-hard, but personally I think that wasn't hard enough lol.
The only thing that I felt was missing

Lovely little outing for tired feet while visiting Brookline. Omitted ONE star for several reasons: 1. Never had this done before so there is nothing to compare it to. 2. I have a herniated disk in my lower back and another in my neck. As such, The table was very very difficult for me to become comfortable. This being said, they did not consult with me beforehand. However, they must have figured out that my daughter has a vascular necrosis in her hip, which they treated.
Helped ease some travel-induced stiffness and soreness. Lovely and relaxing.

This is one of my favorite places for foot reflexology.
Typically, I try to get an appointment rather than walking in. I've managed to get same day appointments on a few occasions which is great. The waiting area is small but cozy. If you opt for a foot reflexology, you get to choose which herb mix you would like in your foot soak. Personally, I haven't found a difference using one or the other but the booklet is fun to browse through.
Here, a one hour foot reflexology session also involves a body work massage, clothes on. A couple times, I felt the pressure was too much on my back

The decor, the music, the staff, the massage therapist are top notch. It was easy to call and book an appointment. I got there and was really impressed by the clean, spaciousness and the way it was set up. I also provided feedbacks on small things and they will implement them. Overall great experience.

Excellent TaNui body Work! In town for a quick trip, and decided to check out Nomad for their Tulum ambience and reasonable pricing.
Super cute decor, very serene and magical -- felt transported. Color scheme was whites and tans, clean and minimalistic. Billowy floor to ceiling drapes divided treatment rooms, and beautiful wall hangings throughout.
Massage itself used the perfect deep pressure, and worked out my knots.
Will def be back when in area!!!!
