She gets me in and out in only 1.5-2 hours… for a full keratin hair straightening, haircut and blowout. Mind you, we LOVE to chat and I can add on a half an hour just contrasting my hair sins. 😉

The most awful experience of haircut! The hairdresser cut my hair so it looks like a dog ripped it off :( on a top of that she cut much more if what I asked her too, so I cannot even fix it now. And at the end she said - that’s what you wanted. I’m absolutely shocked about the unprofessionalism of their stuff. Please don’t go there just for the « cheap price »

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE

Poor Value - Not professional - Not on time

My first time having a Brazilian Blowout. I didn't know that the Brazilian blowout process would cause chemical fumes. The thing is that they even didn't tell me about it when they know it was my first time having this hair treatment service. My eyes felt like burning and the chemical fumes almost made me dizzy. Then they started to open the window and told me to close my eyes to avoid the chemical fumes (they should of told me about this at first). The service itself should be done in a well ventilated area of the salon

A truly talented stylist, Liliya Grigoryeva’s skill is the definition of perfection when it comes to haircutting and coloring, especially using balayage that enhances a lovely natural look. I’ve been getting compliments as a result of her work for the past 8 years! I have had family members and friends who cannot believe how great (and lasting) her haircuts are!! They are now clients of Liliya’s as well. I get the best, most meticulous haircut from Liliya, and as I have aged, the style has changed, but Liliya works with me, so the new changes are flattering. I have never had a stylist take

Had an amazing experience with Olivia (@thepaintedhair on Instagram). She was very communicative and explained every step of the way. She was very clean with her work and my hair came out beautifully! I showed pictures of what I wanted to get done and she was able to perform it to the best of her abilities. My hair was previously colored by someone else and was a mess but Olivia was able to transform me into a new person honestly. I walked in with an appointment blindly and left with two scheduled future appointments with her. I definitely recommend going to see Olivia for cut and especially color

Michelle is the best hair stylist in Boston. She knows exactly how to do when I explain to her how I wanted my hair to be like. I love her job! Never disappointed!

I had a haircut and balayage with Michelle today and it was wonderful! Michelle is amazing and I'm so happy with the way my hair came out. Aluna also has a nice big space with a relaxing atmosphere.

The ambience of Aluna salon is really lovely and my overall haircut/blowout experience was pleasant. Relaxing wash with head massage. However, my hair looked like it was cut by my 3 year old niece. It wasn’t until I got home that I noticed how incredibly uneven the length and layers were. My husband noticed too which says a lot. I didn’t contact them or attempt to have it fixed so I can’t speak to how they would’ve handled this issue.

Definitely on the expensive/luxury side, but you can just tell they use very high quality products (smelled natural). Also it got expensive because my hair is very long... Liliya was my stylist and she was extremely thorough with everything and the result is magic! I will come back

I started seeing Michelle around 3-4 years ago. I had just moved to the US as a college student. I wasn’t sure who I could trust with my hair so I’d gone about 6 months without a cut. My hair in the meantime had gotten very oily and dry (an awful combination). I had wash my hair basically everyday because it would get oily so quickly. With Michelle’s guidance and scalp balancing regimen, I was able to regain and improve my hair’s/scalp’s health and strength. I am grateful for her expertise and care. I came here with a Nift, and the experience was okay.
Pros: The salon is beautiful- large, trendy looking and has a great ambience. I saw Chelsea, who seemed very knowledgeable.
Cons: I arrived on time and had to wait half an hour to be seen. I've never waited so long before to see a stylist, and no one checked on me or warned me that she needed more time because she was finishing up with another client. The hair color came out okay, but a few days later when I was blow drying it straight, I noticed some of my hair was still gray. It looked fine on the top of my hair, but in the back and

I was introduced to Aluna thru Groupon and I can't speak highly enough of my experience there. My stylist was Chelsey and I am so happy. She clearly explained what she wanted to do with my hair. There was no hard sell at all and her manner was delightful.
I received a haircut, partial foil, and a single process. I feel and look like a new woman!!!
And Greta at the front desk was very welcoming.

Been to Aluna a few times now and it has always been an amazing experience! From the moment I step into the salon I’m always greeted warmly by reception. Michelle is such a talented colorist and stylist! I’ve been dying my hair since I was 13 and somehow she manages to keep it looking healthy and beautiful. I have Asian hair which is pretty hard to lighten but she does a gorgeous job of it every time!

Unfortunately my haircut was bad.

The layers were poorly done, they were flat and dull and just made my hair look poofy. No shape, no bounce. When I walked out I looked like I was wearing an Asian conical hat on my head.

I couldn't relate to the laissez-faire attitude at Aluna salon. The stylist asked me if I wanted a blow-dry or if I wouldn't mind walking out with wet hair. Hmm..decisions, decisions.

Words really cannot describe the amazing experience that I had at Aluna with Liliya. But I'll try! ;)

I was in desperate need of a trip to the salon before a big work meeting the next day so I googled the salon nearest my work with the best ratings. The clearest choice seemed to be Aluna so I called to see if there happened to be any last minute appointments.
It had been several months since I had gotten my hair done. This factor mixed with the fact I had switched around a couple of stylists meant my hair was in a rough place canvas wise.

The receptionist needs some work tho ... she's nice but needs to work a little on customer service. It's 2019, let's be nicer to fellow women :).

WORSE CUT I HAVE EVER GOTTEN- NEVER GO HERE

I brought multiple photos all showing exactly what I wanted which the stylist completely ignored, even after I stopped her mid-cut to make sure she knew what I wanted. When I complained to customer service they were extremely unapologetic. Pure waste of time and money. NEVER GO HERE.

I bought a Gilt City voucher for a massage, but as a student, my schedule can get busy at times and I waited until the last minute to book it before the expiration date. When I called to make the appointment, the front desk guy berated me, telling me I should've booked this appointment 2 months in advance. I was getting increasingly annoyed on the phone during this conversation, but alas, he said I could book a massage past the expiration date and it will be still honored- hooray! Maybe this will take the bad taste out of my mouth about this place.

This is my third treatment and service with Tiago and it only keeps getting better with each time!!!
