Good Samaritan Care Clinic seeks to provide Christian-influenced health care for those in need utilizing a volunteer professional staff. Over 125 medical, dental, pharmaceutical, nursing, and administrative volunteers make it possible for Good Samaritan Care Clinic to provide free medical and dental services to the uninsured of South Central Missouri, while ensuring patients receive quality and compassionate care.
The Clinic's first facility was a house loaned to them by Mercy St. Francis Hospital of Mountain View. During its first year, the clinic provided assistance in 510 medical visits. In 2006, the clinic relocated to a larger facility on U.S. highway 60 in Mountain View.

Preregistration is not required for medical services, but first-time patients must bring all medication bottles with them and know their medical history, including food/drug allergies. Dental patients may have medical insurance but must not have coverage for dental services. Dental services are limited to extractions and patients must have an appointment scheduled by Good Samaritan Care Clinic staff.
