Bayfield Riverside RV Park is a beautiful, lush 36-acre RV park on the Pine River between Durango and Pagosa Springs on U.S. Hwy 160. Refresh from your travels as you explore the park, following paths along the creeks and through our meadows. Our park offers over 100 sites ranging from full-service RV sites along the water (with free cable TV & Wi-Fi), to quiet, grassy meadows for tent camping.
Our bathrooms and coin laundry are always open and clean. We love pets and they are welcome in our park but you must clean up after them. Our park feels secluded but it's only a half-mile to Bayfield, which offers restaurants, quaint shops, grocery stores, a micro-brewery, and a state of the art library.

Services
There have been many really big trout taken in our waters, and you don't need a license to fish in the RV park. Whether you prefer "matching the hatch" and making accurate casts on our grass-lined streams, fishing a classic free-stone river, or testing your still-water angling skills, Bayfield Riverside RV Park provides all three - literally on your doorstep.
You can raft or kayak down a river or take a narrow gauge railroad ride to 9,200 feet elevation and visit the quaint mountain town of Silverton. On another day you can explore the vast ruins of Mesa Verde National Park or tour historic old-town Durango.
There is also Pagosa Hot Springs, Ignacio with its Southern Ute Museum, Chimney Rock National Monument, Vallecito, Lemon and Navajo Lakes, the Four Corners National Monument, horseback riding, golf, ghost towns, jeep trails and more.Perhaps you would rather stay close to camp and take the walking trail to Bayfield, or just sit in the shade by our creek and read a good book.

A bit picky about who they rent spaces to for the amount that is charged. It is a nice looking park next to the road. Our rv is too old but in better shape than some that I saw in the park. Quite a few empty spaces but the vetting process is lengthy. We would have liked to stay there as its conveniently next to shopping and such but will keep looking.

Beautiful clean camp ground with excellent staff and wonderful streams and ponds. Landscaping is first rate with green grass and flowers everywhere! Only minor negative is road noise from nearby highway and that the bathrooms were closed due to Covid (other campgrounds we have visited have kept bathrooms open). In any case, highly recommend!

So helpful and friendly! We needed an emergency place to stay after wildfires canceled our original trip plans. Bayfield went above and beyond to find us a spot and then help our friends when their rig broke down after the first night. The park landscaping is beautiful and peaceful. About 20 minutes from downtown Durango.

The staff at this place are absolutely amazing. We broke down with a camp trailer and this campground found a place for us for 3 nights. We were towed here and were without a vehicle and they even moved up using a tractor to an open site. While this was not our destination, the campground is beautiful and if this area is our destination in the future this will be our place to stop.
