Solar Thermal (Hot Water, Radiant Heat and Pool Heat) are the most efficient ways to save money and reduce dependence on fossil fuel. Turn the power of the sun all year round into stored solar hot water and save 20-50% on your heating bills. A low maintenance system with rebates and tax credits, can cost as low as $2300 for Residential homes.
Commercial system save thousands a year on heating. All systems are low maintenance with FREE live online monitoring. Aggressive cash incentives and tax credits make a solar hot water system is extremely affordable. Each system we've installed uses the highest rated collectors, tanks and equipment on the market.

Having Solar for your home not only saves you money but gives you peace of mind the energy you are producing comes right from the sun. A Residential Solar Hot Water system is the most efficient way to save money on oil, propane or electric bills. Living in the Northeast you are going to pay for hot water one way or another.
Renewable Energy Systems (RES) LLC designed and installed a Solar Hot Water system at the University of Massachusetts Lowell campus. The system provides hot water to the Inn and Conference Center. RES performed this work on a design-build basis. They completed all the required work in a professional and timely manner.
Massachusetts is one of the best places for installing solar hot water right now. With rebates, energy credits and tax credits it's a perfect opportunity to help Massachusetts reach it's targeted goal of 80% renewable by 2050. Below is a detail outline how solar hot water incentives work for residential and commercial projects.

I waited 3 months to write this review, to ensure that I really had a chance to test RES solar's system thoroughly (also, i never leave reviews). My family moved to MA from NC, where it's much warmer. Needless to say, the first summer here was disappointing. Our pool barely got to 72-75 (and only for a couple days). We maybe got in the pool a dozen times the entire summer.
This year, I contacted Erica to install several panels in hopes that the pool would be warm enough for us to use consistently. I was very skeptical, but unless I was ready to pay for gas heating, I had no choice.

RES installed a solar heating system for our backyard pool. They were incredibly professional, easy to work with, and available as needed after installation. This is one of the best investments we've ever made, as the system will pay for itself within 5-6 years (we're on year 2). We're only using 1 tank of propane a season now (vs. 6-10 tanks in past summers) - just for the very beginning of the season to supplement solar. Best thing about the system (vs. propane heat) is it's "set it and forget it". We just set the target temp and the solar turns itself on and off as needed. It also replaces the

The Nantucket Hotel was in need of a solar solution to mitigate the high cost of propane on Nantucket and Matt and Erica came up with a great solution for our historic property (1891) located in the highly controlled downtown district. They took care of getting HDC approvals, designed the system to fit our neighbors and helped us maximize the financial incentives.
During the planning, installing and after the installation, they have been great communicators and easy to contact.
I highly recommend giving them a chance to do the same for you. Technically they were great, but the customer care quotient

Got a call from Erica at RESsolar recently that their was an issue with our solar hot water system which they installed over 5 years ago and continue to monitor it on-line. This was how they dectected the issue. They were here the next day to check it out. It seemed like it was just a loose wire on one of the pumps at first, however after getting the pump going again it was still failing. The tech was thorough and realize the pump was the problem, replaced it that morning and even better it was taken care of under the pumps warranty!

These guys are great. An old solar powered hot water heater kicked the bucket in our 1880s farmhouse, and they coordinated with the manufacturer to get it delivered to their shop, and were able to squeeze us in on a short timeline. There were some post-installation problems that they were more than helpful with, working into the weekend to get it resolved. Couldn't be more impressed.
